DH borrowed a Frazz book from a coworker, and the author mentions that Waterston is his hero (and mentor, I think). So, no, it's not just a new strip by the same person. I think the author is from the Lansing area, but don't quote me on that.chefjeanine said:Oh, I so miss Calvin & Hobbes. We have several of the books. Had to go online to look up Frazz. . .think Waterson has come out of retirement? The drawings are SO similar to Calvin's family. Ann, do you know where in Michigan he is from?

BethCooks4U said:Hi everyone! I'm back! It was great meeting so many of you! We had tried get togethers in the past with CS and this is the first year we succeeded!!
I don't think I'll ever get through all the posts I missed in the last 2 weeks so I won't even try.
I know! That happened several times with different people. It was great to see so many of you in the halls! Meeting the first night was a great idea because then we already knew who to look for!!katie0128 said:Hey... I saw you on day 2 right before one of the workshops. I was just about to say "hi" when my upline started talking to me. I turned around to tell her I would be right back and when I turned back around, you were gone. You are very sneaky! Oh well... guess we'll meet in Cincinnati!
Good to know.chefann said:Bang.
There. I shot it dead. You can all go home now.
I know but I didn't like that one (no offense). My bangs were goofy... I hate my picture but this one is tolerable - sort of.chefann said:Um, Beth, there was an Avatar shot of you in the pic thread already cropped - mostly hat.
The Thread Killers Club is a group for people who have a tendency to "kill" online forum threads by being the last person to comment, resulting in no further discussion. To join, simply search for the Thread Killers Club forum and request to join.
If you consistently find yourself being the last person to comment on forum threads, or if you notice a lack of responses after you post, it's likely that you are a thread killer. Don't worry, it's a common phenomenon!
Yes, being a thread killer can have its benefits. You may be the person who sparks a new topic or provides a conclusive answer to a question. Plus, being a thread killer can also be a source of humor and self-awareness.
One way to break the cycle is to actively engage in discussions and ask open-ended questions to encourage others to participate. You can also try to be the first to comment on a new thread instead of waiting until the end.
There may be other thread killers in the community, but don't let that discourage you! The Thread Killers Club is a fun and supportive space for all thread killers, so feel free to embrace your fate and join the club.
