Hi there cheffers!:D
Just wanted to tell you that yesterday, for our cluster meeting, I made the warm chocolate mini cakes. Well, made the first batch from scratch...they are yummy. Well, I got creative and tried something, and would like to share...if you use a chocolate fudge cake mix, use...
I just wanted to share what my host did with this recipe today.
She wanted to make the mini cakes but did not have the Silicone Floral Cupcake Pan. She used the Springform Pan with the insert in it. She made the recipe as written, just cooked it a little longer. It was delicious. I have...
Has anyone out there tried this recipe from Cooking for 2 of More? Are they as tasty as they look? Do they come out on the moist or dry side?
I've been asked to make these for company tonight...which in my time zone is only 2 hours away. :0
thanks!!!!!
I was feeling a little evil tonight so I made some addtions to the normal cake mix...and made my own individual lava cake with a marshmallow surprise in the center! I substituted 1tbsp of milk instead of water, (too dry) pushed 1 marshmallow down into the batter so that it covered it...and...
This is my first post. It has been great to read all your wonderful tips.
I have a guest who was talking about an item from a couple of years ago where her consultant baked a cake by just put cake ingrediants in a single pot. Could this be a discontinued item or was in the Micro cooker...
Hi everyone,
I'd love to hear if anyone has experimented with doing cakes in the SMALL batter bowl. My son's 5th birthday is this Saturday and I want to make him a snowman cake. Kind of like the ones PC has shown us with the Prep Bowls, but I want it to feed more people, so I was thinking I...
One of my new gals shared that whenever she makes a cake, she replaces any water with milk. I did this last night for a three layer chocolate cake, and, boy, was it MOIST! Definitely something I'm going to be doing in the future, and mentioning at shows!
Just wanted to share!:D
This is a little belated, but I thought I'd show you all the jack-o-lantern cakes I made in the mini fluted pan. They were a huge hit at work! I used the small spreader to make the ridges in the icing, then decorated with tootsie rolls and black decorator icing. Thanks everyone for the tips...
Help, quick! I'm attempting this cake today
http://jas.familyfun.go.com/recipefinder/display?id=50198
And I need to know if I bake the cake in the stone baker, will it pop out?
Thanks!!!
Susan :)
Hi everyone,
I created a little flyer to advertise our cakes in the coffee and more mugs. I had a few people ask for the recipe info so here it is.
Flora:)
Has anyone baked mini cakes in the prep bowls? What temperature do you put the oven on and do you put the prep bowls on baking sheets or directly on the oven racks? Thanks.
I had a future host make these last night. She does not have our silicone pan yet - she is waiting until her hsow later this month. She backed them in a regular metal muffin pan. She called the morning to tell me that after about an hour they got very hard. Is this b/c of the metal pan? She...
I made these last night as a test. Really tasted great. However, the batter was really heavy and pasty - didn't look like the demo on the CD. They did taste great but seemed a little dry. I double checked I used all ingredients correctly. Has anyone else run across this problem?
thanks
Look at these cute little cakes!! My upline sent it out!! LOVE IT!!
Mini Fluted Pumpkin Cakes
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Prepare one package
(18.25 ounces) yellow cake mix according to
package directions. If desired, tint batter with
orange food coloring. Fill each well of lightly...
I noticed in the Hazlenut cake recipe it said you need to do it in a microwave with a turntable. We don't have one. Can I still do it? This was the whole reason I got it! Would I just need to turn it every few minutes?
Anyone done it?
First of all I just wanted to say I started PC in May, this is my first post but I love this group- I have learned so much! Anyways I just wanted to ask if anyone out there has made the sticky caramel cakes yet successfully. I tried them tonight. The cakes came out perfect popped right out...
I have been reading everyone say how great and easy these microwave cakes are and I am DYING to try one....the only problem is: I do not have a rice cooker or a fluted pan. Can I use the 9x13 baker??? Or the batter bowl, maybe??
Thanks in advance!!:D
This was passed along to me back in May when the HWC cups/saucers were available, so I can't take credit but thought you might enjoy! It's a great summer treat since it doesn't heat up your house! I've done this as a quick demo at my shows. It's almost magical...very similar to the product in...
Hi! I recently made one of the microwave cakes in the fluted stone using chocolate cake mix and putting the icing in it before cooking (hopefully that makes sense). The cake tasted great, but it looked terrible! I've been wanting to try the microwave Strawberry Cheesecake Cake but I was...
:o I love microwave cakes in the stoneware, because it makes people go nuts when they find out they can use stones in the micro!
Anyone have good recipes for Microwave Cakes in Stoneware? I have the Fluted Pan, so those would be good too.
Thanks! :)
Hello. I am helping a downline consultant (and myself :p ) with Batter Bowl Cake ideas...however, she is one who has to see a picture before she can totally understand it.
So, I was hoping that all you wonderful consultants here in Cheffers' Land would be able and willing to help. (Was that...
My buddy Leeann has told me she loves the cakes microwaved in the fluted stone.... I have it waiting on my kit enhancement order. I really want to try a cake in a stone, cooked by the nuker.... does anyone have a recipe I can use in other shapes? I have the mini baker, small casserole, pie...
Oh My.....I tried the eggs in the prep bowls....what a wonderful treat.;)
Took 2 eggs, splash of milk, whipped in some peppers....put it in the micro...gotta keep a check on it, when it rises, stop and stir quick.
But flipped it onto a plate, put a piece of cheese over it and Viola....a...
Just rec'd this from my Director...thought it was a great idea and wanted to share.
Mix together in a zip lock baggie:
1 full size chocolate cake mix
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
When ready to use, mix the following ingredients together right in one of the Simple Additions cups...
I have learned from experience to try out recipes before debuting them at parties, especially since I am so new at this. The downside of testing them, though, is that I ate HALF the recipe! The coconut shrimp cakes are to DIE for. I made the mustard sauce to go with them and my husband and I...
Am I the only person who has a hard time flipping cakes out of the Family Skillet onto the Large Square Platter with the hot pad/trivet? I can't get a good grip on the skillet and platter, I usuallly end up burning myself, and the cake is off-center 99% of the time. I was going to buy the hot...
I was wondering if anyone knows how much batter to put into the prep bowls and how long to bake them for when I want to make the doll cakes? Do you place it on the barpan for stability?
I am doing a Mommy and Me playdate. The children are going to be decorating the doll cupcakes while the...
I don't have a mini-fluted pan and have a host that would like to have these at her show this weekend and I don't have the time to get it before the show. I've asked to borrow it from my director, but was wondering if any of you knew an alternative way of making this recipe?
Thanks in advance!
