I recently purchased the fluted stone and my next host chose the 12 minutes Apple Cinnamon Cake. I made it once before, to make sure I'm not going to have any unpleasant surprises at the show. I followed the exact recipe: 1 can pie filling, one box cake mix, 3 eggs. I founded a little beat dry...
I had a host today say that she had a rectangle stone break at home that morning while she was making the Artisan bread for her pampered chef party.
Her mother told her she could use one of her rectangular stones (the stone was 10 years old and very seasoned). She put the stone with the...
So a customer has used her new stone twice and has had problems with food not cooking completely. Her biscuits looked perfect but were not cooked all the way through. Just cook a tad longer? Put the food/stone in the oven while it's heating up as opposed to letting the oven preheat and then...
One of my customers called me and told me that her pizza stone is "leaking". She said it keeps dripping like crazy--she thinks it might be grease of some kind but she's not really sure.
Is there any way to fix this? I mean, I can do a product adjustment for her to get a replacement, but I...
Hello folks - I thought, once upon a time there was a file that had a bunch of fluted stone recipes in it.....but alas, I can't find it!!! If anyone has such an animal, would you please post it????
I don't cook my pizzas on a stone, so I have no idea on this. A customer emailed me "When I make pizza on it, the crust is not hard. Why is that?"Any ideas? This is frozen pizzas she's talking about.
I am a new consultant but using PC for years. I had a customer told me my stoneware was dirty and she puts hers in a self cleaning oven. I did not know what to say back to her but thank goodness other chimed in and said they were not dirty....sigh.
So anyone ever heard of this?
Thanks in advance
I finally made my first micro cake in our Fluted Stone. I greased really well with canola oil but it stuck on the bottom when I flipped it. Had to make some repairs. any tips or tricks? Otherwise it was delicious!!!
I have a large round stone that I need to return for a customer, it is cracked in two. Can you really just break off a piece and mail it in an envelope (with the appropriate paperwork of course)? Thought I read on here somewhere that you could but wanted to check.
Thanks!
I'm looking to buy more stoneware while its on sale and was wondering what the major diff is between the med and lg round stone? Ok besides the obvious! (I'm not that slow...) What I mean is, I see most recipes are calling for the large (braids, the taffy apple pizza etc) what all do you use the...
I'd like to get your input.
I earned the new consultant bonus of 2 pieces of stoneware of my choice (yay!). I do have a bit of a dilemma though. I already have nearly all the stoneware. I think I am going to get another DCB so I'll have both colors and because I think they are super useful. For...
Regarding stones under warranty. If they are just cracked they require the whole stone be sent back. If the stone is broken then just a piece is fine.
So the right answer is very important when doing an adjustment. Customer Service said this has always been their policy but it was never enforced.
Hi everyone- I just got a very frantic email from a customer this morning, she purchased the large round stone with handles from a show I did back in Feb, and it broke on her the first time when she was cooking chicken nuggets on it. I asked her how many, and she said three of the big ones. I...
I have a recipe file for this item, but I'm looking for more recipes. The recipes I've found so far are mostly cupcakes and muffin recipes. I'm wondering if anyone has any other style recipes. Savory? Dessert?
I've read alot of posts about the round stone with handles breaking. I myself have had several customers complaining. The last post I read was April, 2009. Is there still a problem with them?
Last night at a party a very good customer and friend asked how customers are liking the new...
I have a party tonight and we are making the Beef Enchilada Casserole (29 min. to dinner). I've always made this in the square stone as I didn't have the deep dish baker -- do you think I can make this in the DCB??? Timing for it???
My first party is tomorrow so I'm practicing with my kit today. Does anyone know any good/quick lunch recipes for the family... and I want to incorporate things that are in my kit... I also have a med. round stone. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks :)
I know this has been an issue with many... but I now have a customer who has returned 2 of them. The Large Round Stone with Handles has been cracking on her 2nd time using it.
I am going to email test kitchens, but thought I'd check if anyone knows the answer to my host's question...
My deep dish baker is too big to fit in my micro. I was wondering if I could use another stone with sides and if that would work just as well. For example I have the deep dish baker. I was told for the 30min chicken you don't use the lid of the baker so maybe any stone that will fit in the...
My customer got her stone in Sept., of 07. In July of 08 it had to be replaced and now the replacement is being replaced. She really wanted to exchange it for a lg stone w/o handles, but try as I might the solution center would not do it..... I know it was over a year, but my host is worried...
Hey everybody, I'm a young PCer and have my first defective baking stone. Actually, I purchased it myself a couple summers ago (June 06 I think), before I was a PC consultant. Now a piece has broken off, and as it was from my bridal shower, I cant remember the name of the consultant who sold...
Have a customer who was going through her storage, she said she found a rectangular baker that had gotten damp and moldy...wondered if there was any saving it or should she dump it?
There's nothing else wrong w/ it, no rodent droppings or anything, just the moldyness...
I'd personally say...
Hi all, I am only finding a "Day in the Life of a bar pan" for recipe ideas for the bar pan and none for the stone muffin pan...any suggestions, or help here?
Thanks a bunch!!
