I was wondering if anyone has seen or created a brief letter explaining the differences between hosting a cooking or catalog show.
I would like to be able to present the pros/cons of each to potential hosts so they can decide for themselves.
Thanks.
I just did my first Cooking with Kids show this weekend and it was a HUGE success! I even booked another Cooking with Kids show for March. YAY!!! We did Mini Taffy Apple Pizzas at the first show and they were a HUGE hit. The next Mom doesn't want to do the same recipe because it will be a lot of...
Hi All - I am trying to put together ideas for my cowgirls and friends that I ride with. Kind of looking for recipe ideas that would be fun and easy - some shows may end up being held at a barn kitchen and I may be very limited as to what cooktops I can utilize.
Other shows will be held in...
Does anyone have a quick easy (possibly microwave friendly) DCB brunch recipe? I have a cooking show on Saturday and I need to find something to make. Thank you in advance.
HELP!
I am doing a cooking show somewhere that doesn't have a microwave or oven. I didn't want to do the typical meat/cheese tray, but I can't think of any recipes that I could show that don't call at least for a microwave...suggestions???
Besides the obvious ingredient (salt) .... what is the reason for Salted or Unsalted Butter? I always stand at the butter aisle scratching my head on which to pick up. I 95% of the time reach for salted but was wondering what you would use the "unsalted" butter for.
I have a customer who would like for Cooking for a Cause Volume 1 as well as the retired Digital Thermometer. If you have either if you could let me know what you'd like for them as well as shipping to 23228. Thanks so much!

I had a cooking show cancel and i talked her into doing a catalog show instead. I went in to my cooking show and clicked on "edit show type" and a box opened that said "select show type".
I've done this several times, but this time it didn't give me a drop down box. and the finish is...
I have been searching past posts and am wondering if anyone has any show formats or scripts they can share...and/or flyers that advertise for these shows? I thinks my organization skills for this are a little small.....
I have never done a whole chicken in the DCB!! My host for Sun wants to do this but I dont have a meat theometer. How can I check the chicken? What else should I make?
I'm about to have my first couple of cooking shows. I had two kick-off shows where I made a variety of food but only did a demo of the cool veggie pizza and lava cake.
I want to give my hosts a variety of options for the demonstration, but would love some feed back on tried and true...
I need some ideas for a kids cooking show. Ages 5-10. I was thinking rocky road brownies with pre made brownie mix and blizzards in the MFP. Not sure yet though. Show is in three weeks. Any suggestions?
Since I have been so scared to death to cook and talk infront of people I think I may only do catalog shows. Any input on this.
ps. I have done 4 cooking shows and i'm still deathly afraid to talk infront of people and my hands start to shake.
I am going to be doing a "cooking demonstration" at a farmers market type place and am wondering if anyone does these and has anything that they are doing with different veggies? I am going to do some salsas, demo the wedgers and the mandoline and the new potato chip maker... looking for any...
I have both the square griddle and the double griddle and to be honest I only use these to thaw meat. They work amazing for this use - quickly thaw anything that way - but seriously, if I had paid for those pans I would feel I wasn't getting my investment from them using them just for this...
I have had a hard time deciding on a recipe for August. I want to showcase the grill pan, and I hate to leave out the DCB, but I don't want to Carry too much.
Anyway on top of everything else I sprained my ankle and can't walk or try any recipes!!!
So I have been offering the grilled...
Hey all - I am a Girl Scout leader and just got a look at our new badge books that take effect 10/1. There is a rollout of new badges for all girl levels this year that supercedes the previous badge books (this is a transition year, though, so they can still earn the old badges).
Across the...
Research tells us that:
• Fun activities create a positive climate.
When people laugh and have fun together, a special bond is created between
them. They may be more willing to help the host if she’s planning on starting her own business, or be more receptive to your customer care calls...
I know that this is an old recipe.* But I was wondering if anyone can help me with it.* I am considering for my wedding.* Would I be able to make them the day before and then put them in aluminum pans and bake them the day of the wedding?** Would I be able to make the bacon on a* stone in the...
What is everyone doing this month to promote the grill pan, other than the chicken your way show? Has anyone tried making ice cream cones in the skillet?
Hello Everyone!
I am planning an express Mystery Host Show for next Thursday... I would like to send the invitation today, but my head is all over the place, I don't seem to find the words to make it clear... Could you please help me with your nice ideas? :blushing:
This is what I...
I was wondering if any of you had a done a recipe at your shows that is not really tied to Pampered Chef? What are your thoughts on doing this? For example you would still use the many products to make the recipe; it just would not be a Pampered Chef recipe?
Some of you may have already seen me mention this on my FB Page.
I've been mulling this idea around for a bit, and yesterday I spoke with a friend, who agreed to be a guinea pig of sorts. I want to create a theme show called "Cooking for Couponers".
The general concept I have is that we...
The Casual Cooking cookbook is only $3.25 on the outlet. This seems like it would make a great booking incentive so I'm inclined to purchase a few. However, I haven't seen the contents of this cookbook, what recipes does it have? Is it any good?
Thanks
What is a good way to cook chicken drumsticks? I'm on a low-carb diet right now and bought a pack of chicken drumsticks and am trying to decide how I want to cook them (and what to season them with.) Normally I'd try just some BBQ sauce, but I'm staying away from sugar right now. My other...
Okay, don't laugh at me...
I am not a outdoor grill person. I never cook burgers or steak...I go to my mom's for that. :D Seriously, I mostly just cook chicken and PC recipes. So, here I have these great looking Ribeye steaks that I want to make for dinner and I'm scared I'm going to ruin...
