I had a host who went back and forth between doing a cooking show and a fundraiser. I typed the show originally as a cooking show and now we are sending it in as a fundraiser. PP won't let me switch it out on the show summery. Do I have to delete the whole show and re-type it?????
Thanks!
Out of curiosity, what are you guys and gals cooking for your families this summer? It's only June and I already HATE my stove! It's too hot to cook, lol. The one idea I have for the summer is the grilled pizza, although I'm at a loss for toppings because I have very picky eaters in the...
Has anyone done a "cooking basics" class for kids? I'm doing one in July for a group of Girl Scouts (Brownies?) that are 8-9 years old.
It's a group of about 10 girls.. I'm donating a 'my safe cutter's' to the group and giving one to each girl.
I'm thinking measuring, whisking...
I have a customer (and a good friend) that wants to do a grilling show. No problem. HOWEVER, I don't do the grilling in my house, my husband does. She has said she will do the grill part of the show, but I need a few recipes to toss her way. . . any ideas? Suggestions? Help! :cry...

I entered a show as a fundraiser in p3, now we are going to change it over to a cooking show and make baskets with free stuff and I'm donating money for the half off item. It won't let me change it??? Help!

I have a host who wants raw vegan recipes for her cooking show. Any ideas? From what I understand there can be no dairy/cheese/eggs; obviously no meat; and if cooked can't be cooked over 118 degrees F. I have supplied the Tropical Fruit Salsa and Confetti Salsa recipes and an Artichoke...
Hello! Hoping I can get some input on a situation from the helpful group here, sorry it's kind of long:
I held my first cooking show for my boyfriend's aunt early this month. Show went well, sold $500 worth, and booked 2 more shows. The show was on Sunday, so I told her that I would like...
Hey ladies,
I just got approached to do a presentation for a church org. and thought it'd be nice for our Mom's group, those Mom's to come and get some yummy treats in recognition of our Moms for Mother's Day.
Here's the thing:
I need a recipe and possibly one to feed 30-40 people -...
Anyone ever done chicken legs in the DCB? Care to share what you did and how it turned out? I bought some at the store and want to try them in the DCB...no idea what to do with them though.
I am doing the Taste of Home Cooking School and they have asked me to do an ad for my booth, I get the size of a business card. I can do my business card but I am sharing it with another consultant. Anybody do one that you would be willing to share?
I have ZERO creative juices when it comes...
How do you figure the cooking time in the DCB in the microwave for something that you normally would cook in a crock pot? For example, if something said to cook 6-8 hours on low in the crock pot, how long should you cook it in the microwave? TIA
I am about to start having team meetings of my own next month. Any good ideas? I like the meetings I have been attending for several years but would like some new ideas, too.:chef:
I have qualified for the free piece of cookware, and I don't know what to get, 10 inch covered skillet or 12 inch covered skillit. I love my executive piece but would like to have a piece of stainless to show (and use) I know they have the skillet cake in the 12 inch, are there any recipes that...
I am thinking about starting a monthly cooking club and was wondering if anyone else does one? If so how do you go about yours? Thanks for any information.:)
One of the consultants @ our SL in Jackson did a brief Power Cooking show demo. She said that they would cook meals for the week (five, I think) for the host. Can anyone give me an idea of what five meals that might would be? She didn't say but it sounds interesting to me. I do know that she...
How many of you sell tons of DCB only to see the customer later and ask them how much they love it....and they admit they haven't used it yet....or only used it once.....
I have been doing PC less than a year but have sold tons of DCB. Everyone loves how easy it is to use and makes delicious...
Hi All!
I'm doing a show on Sunday for a girl I met at a Craft Fair. It's a FREE cooking show that she won and I am hoping to demo a few areas of Pampered Chef, I want to use my quikstir pitcher and of course the skillet for a cake, I'm wondering if tools and tasters would be ok. Then I could...
I went to a high end kitchen design center and pitched the SS pans for use on induction stove tops. They loved the idea of one brand and one line to recommend since not all lines of All Clad SS will work. I think I have them convinced to buy the 3 quart SSS and demo it with the stove top. If...
I have a host who is a working mom with a baby. Her show is Jan 20 and she will have lots of young working moms there. She wants to do power cooking chicken with the smokey black bean wraps, tortilla soup and stir fry. I figure I'll make and immediately serve all the meals and just explain at...
Has anyone done one of these? Do you have an email you give to your host to send out?
I'm thinking of trying this instead of just an online catalog show.
I have a customer who broke one of her stones yesterday. She cooked something for herself and left it in the oven after she was done..but she turned off the oven..while it was cooling she heard a pop..when she went to the over later..she realized that the pop that she heard was her stone...
I saw some tips on here in the past about cooking with stainless cookware, but searched and could not find it. Is there anyone who can help me? I have someone who bought the 10" stainless but needs help with using it correctly. Thank you!
I have to bring some side dishes to go with an unknown main dish (yes - thank you to my dear husband for making holiday plans and not getting quite all the details), I am wanting to go outside the box a little... any suggestions or favorites of yours?
Every cooking show I have done thus far, with people I do not personally know is CHAOS.
I can garner attention when I hollar out that I have anouncements or if I grab the host and make her get attention of her guests, but while demonstrating everyone starts up their own...
Anyone ever tried or think it might work? I have a guest that emailed me to ask. I would think it could be cooked, but would worry it would come out overcooked/chewy. Any ideas?
Hi,
I'm a brand new Consultant! I had my Grand Opening show (which wasn't what I had hoped, so many people cancelled and then didn't want to order), but I got a few bookings from that show and my first cooking show is this Thursday night.
It's my soon-to-be Mother-In-Law's party, so I know...
