My cousin and I adapted the Caramel Banana Raviolis for her show Friday night. Actually we prepared it both ways- the apple version was a bigger hit than the banana. Plus it uses the micro cooker as well. I'm attaching both recipes below, the original and our new version. It worked out perfect...
Anyone tried this with fresh apples instead of applie pie filling? I was thinking of using the apples, cake mix/oatmeal mixture, butter, brown sugar, and the sprinkles, but how long to microwave it for do you think? Host wants to keep the cost down and wants fresh apples instead of pie filling.
I have a customer who purchased one a couple of years ago. She's asking me about a problem she has where it takes off too much flesh from the apple along with the peel. She has tried adjusting the cutter piece, but it is still taking off too much. Any suggestions for her? I've sometimes had this...
Anyone know the best way to sharpen the Apple Wedger? I have a past host who has had hers for years and it is pretty dull. Can these be sharpened and if so, what do you use? Thanks in advance for any help.
This is my first post, but I am so excited after Spring Launch, I'm still buzzing! I do have a question- anybody have any ideas for the Sweet Apple Sprinkle? It smells really apple-y, but I'm not sure what I can do with it!
I read the directions- I am making it for a show saturday.
Can I use the apple peeler corer slicer? instead of the wedger & knife??
If so does it affect the time?
Hey there-
I was planning on making the Honey Apple Brie Bites for Christmas but I can't find the pre-made mini phyllo shells anywhere - only phyllo dough.
So any hints on how to get these shells made?
Do I just take a few sheets cut them up to fit a few layers in the mini muffin pan and then...
I have a customer who had this at a holiday party...I've never made it or saw the recipe...if someone has it or knows of it could you please send it to me at [email protected]
Thanks so much!!
Krissy
Hey guys I have a brunch party tomorrow and my host would like to serve a french toast dish with the Boutiful Pizza I'm demoing. I would like to send her the Apple Cinnamon French Toast recipe from the "More Stoneware Sensations" cookbook only I don't have that cookbook! Does anyone have that...
I won't have time to make the yummy cinnamon chips to serve with the Apple Berry Salsa. Do you think regular tortilla chips would work? I still picture something sweet with them but I don't have any other ideas.
I've used this device several times. Every cobbler, crisp and pie I make, the apples come out too mushy because they are half the size I normally would cut them. If I take the baked item out sooner, the top isn't done yet. Is there a way to get bigger pieces? Or avoid mush?
I just have to say that I made this recipe for the first time today to bring to my cluster meeting. Oh my!!! Talking about YUMMY!!! I am definitely going to offer this as an "Easy and Impressive Appetizer" Show. It was sooooo good, and soooo easy to make.
My sister ordered the Apple Peeler with the stand from a show I hosted before becoming a consultant.
She says that it seems really tight and actually peels way too much if you are using softer apples. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment to it? Or maybe it is just because it is brand...
i have a customer who wants to order this but is wondering if it will work without the stand? i am not sure as i have never used one. do you NEED the stand to make this work? or can you hook it on a table?
I want to make an Apple themed dessert type dish for a get-together.
Has anyone made the DCB Cobbler (Pie Filling/Cake Mix/Butter) using Apple Pie Filling yet? I always do either Cherry or Strawberry - so I wasn't sure if it was just as good with Apple...should I add Cinnamon or brown sugar...
Thought I would throw this out there anyway.
When using the apple wedger if it doesn't slice ALL the way through the apple, don't try to push the wedges or the core out with your fingers.
I did that this weekend and ended up in the ER with two stitches in my thumb :(. Thank GOD it was at...
New Autumn Apple Cherry Crisp
I know it has just been posted on CC - but has anyone made this yet??
Suggestions? Any good?
I would like to make a cobbler for a gathering next weekend (Pie filling/Cake Mix/butter in the DCB). But would love to make this instead if it's any good.
Hi - I have a show in a month Saturday night at 7 pm, I would like to do a dessert. I am quite new so I mostly only have the starter kit products, but I could probably borrow most anything from my director if I needed to.
I'm thinking about the taffy apple tartlets which are in the latest...
I'm doing a cooking class this weekend, featuring soups/stews and apple desserts. What are some of your favorites? I've only made a few of them from our cookbooks, so wanted to hear what you all enjoy. Oh, and I probably won't be cooking in the microwave, as the ladies that have signed up for...
I've made this twice now. VERY yummy and easy! Plus, it shows three major awe-inspiring tools -- dcb, apple p/c/s, and mix and chop.
8-10 large apples (I like to use tart apples)
1/2 c. sugar to a cup, depending on your taste (I like applesauce that is a little tart, so, I stick with the...
