I just had a customer call and ask how to get the corer out of the apple because she is having a hard time. I guess she has to get hubby to get it out. I told her to pull apart from the two black pieces. I've never had an issue - anyone have any tricks?
I am making the Harvest Apple Skillet Cake for a show on Sunday. I will do my first practice run tomorrow.
Have any of you made this for shows before? What kind of prep do you do ahead of time? Any tips you would like to share?
Okay, this happened to me the other day, and I don't know how but then it was fine half way through the apple. But I just had someone call and tell me hers is doing it all the time. Anybody had this problem? Is it the peeler spring? Can it be fixed? I think hers is past warranty.
Thanks
Hi Everyone-
I am wondering if Pampered Chef has a recipe for Spiced Cider or Apple Cider? If anyone knows of one can you pass it along? I have a customer asking, thank you so much!
Hi... In the morning, I want to make the Apple Danish Braid but w/ Cherry pie filling instead. Any tips? The recipe I have calls for an egg to be mixed with the cream cheese. Is that correct?
Hey Guys -
I am practicing the Quick Apple Crisp recipe tonight for a show tomorrow (first time ever making it). I read that some of you are making it in the Deep Covered Baker to show it off this month. But now I'm just wondering if I should use the lid or not...? What have you guys done...
A friend of mine from high school is having a Real Food Real Fast show with me in a couple of weeks. She wanted to know what we could make for dessert, and I wasn't prepared for the question. I suggested a trifle and told her how many choices she'd have. She decided she wants the Taffy Apple...
Your Favorite Apple Recipe to Demo?Mine is Apple Nut Ring- except I increased it by 50% and use the Cranberry Rectagular Baker. I renamed it Cinnamon Apple Sticky Buns.
I think someone was discussing this topic but couldn't find it so I thought I'd post again. Does someone have the recipe for an apple crisp we can do in the microwave in DCB? I have one from a long time ago...like 1994 that uses graham crackers, and I know there's one out there with the yellow...
I would really like to do this recipe for the remainder of my September cooking shows. (I noticed the Apple UD Cake on one of the skillet recipe sheets in the ChefSuccess Files!) I think it would be great to show off the cookware and incorporate the whole seasonal apple thing!
However, never...
I know I'm not going crazy thinking you can do something with these and kool aid but what is it? We just did 4 apples and thought you could make gummys. :blushing:
Please help!!!:)
I have never used my apple wedger for my 2.5 yr. DS since it made rather large wedges. Today I used it (pushed it all the way through the flesh, but not all of the way through the bottom skin...) and then pulled it back out of the apple, rotated it slightly, and pushed down again. Instead of...
Does anyone know if the plastic cover for the newer apple wedgers will fit the earlier versions of the wedger?? I have a customer who loves her tool but hates her bandaids. I need to know if the replacement cover/cap available will fot on her tool...
I borrowed an apple peeler and now I forgot how to use it. (Dumb) I can't call the person I borrowed it from as they are on vacation. I want to demo a potato with it at my show tomorrow.
Thanks
My mom has wanted to buy one of the apple A/P/S for a couple of months and last week one of her friends knew a lady at church who would sell her an UNUSED one, with the stand for $10!!! So she grabbed it ande we used it today-pretty slick!!
The question is-it is the old one with the two...
Can anyone give me some good tips or helpful hints for this recipe. My host for tomorrow is wanting this recipe and I have never made it. I found the recipe online, but would love to see a picture if someone knows what cookbook it is from. I searched the PC website, but couldn't find...
Will the plastic HWC knife cut an apple? I work at a school and the teachers were wondeing if it would cut an apple. I wasn't sure and said I would try it tonight but i left it in the teachers lounge.
HELP!!
Thanks:)
I was looking in old by-product recipe collections and found this yummy sounding do-ahead (for a brunch) recipe. Anyone ever do it? I'm wondering if I am supposed to use "raw" dough or the loaf already made...
Apple Cinnamon French Toast
1 loaf (8 oz) French bread 1/8 tsp salt
6 eggs...
So I don't have an Apple/Peeler/Corer/Slicer (shocking!), or the PC Apple Wedger, and I was wondering if I can still make this recipe work.
Suggestions?
I know there a lot of great Pampered Chef dips out there, but are any suitable for a breakfast show I am doing? The only dip-like thing that I thought might work is the Apple Berry Salsa. Any other ideas?
My new recruit said that she can't install P3 on her Apple computer...which is the only one she has...anyone else have this problem?
What will she need to do to submit a show?
Can you disable the slicing portion of the Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer
I had a couple approach me at the Southern living show asking about the Apple P/C/S, and I explained how it worked, and they were very interested in the product, but were not excited about how thin the slices would be (1/8"...
A customer wants to know if it's possible to sharpen the apple wedger, or if she simply needs to replace it. It's probably 10 years old and they use it ALL the time, so she's prepared to buy a new one if she needs to.
I told her that it now comes with a protective case, and she was excited...
GRRRR!! MEN!
I usually put the cover back in the drawer while the wedger is in the dishwasher. Who knows where he put it!
Off to order a replacement part. :)
