The Republican spokesman replied, "That's because McCain's supporters
are at work, they have a job and are not on welfare."
Not only that, but many of the ones at Obama's rallies are still young enough to be in college, too.Stampaholic1961 said:On television today a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama

It's "interesting" that U.S. Rep, Fauntroy, just assumed that everyone in the audience would be happy about the fact that Obama may become the next President of the U.S.Stampaholic1961 said:

Even more "interesting" is this comment by Fauntroy, "that Obama victory would make Kenya the most important nation in the world, as the place where the first U.S. black president 'is to come from,' elected 'to teach the world how to live in the 21st century'."

Couldn't help but think the theme song is: "Blinded by the Light"
I had a guy at work today - no kids, VERY good salary say he is voting for Obama because socialism beats capitalism any day.
What?! This is the same guy who got mad when we changed his lightbulbs at work to a better type for his health and energy savings because it still had good life in it and we got his 401k by a few cents by doing that.
He also thinks it is Bush's fault his 401k just went down. ?!?!
Unfortunately I believe Obama may win and we are in for a rough 4 years with Democrat control of everything, but I'm still voting tomorrow as soon as I can and HOPING the media is wrong and people aren't as blind by his promises as I see them to be.
People don't be fooled, Barack is NOT going to save you money.

gingertannery said::cry:What is so sad.. this is so true. Too bad people can't see through the false claims.. I have not yet heard "THE HOW" of how Obama is going to accomplish his feats. But I guess it won't matter after he's elected... he won't have to show anyone. Sad world we live in. Everyone will be so surprised when they all have to pay.. and pay big. No one understands Obama will lift the "lowered taxes" imposed by Bush.. so taxes will go up. They are about 1/2 compared to Clinton's taxes. Anyway.. this is Great to show what is going on, sadly......
It's All About The Ice Cream
As a third grade elementary school teacher I had the most eye-opening civics lesson during the run up to this presidential election was when my class showed an interest in the election. I decided to conduct an election for a class president during the next several civics classes. The kids would choose their nominees, and each would make a campaign speech. Afterwards, the entire class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. In the process, they discussed what kinds of characteristics the nominees should have. There were many nominations, and from those, J amie and Olivia were picked by the majority to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought J amie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. J amie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Every one applauded.
He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream! WE WANT ICE CREAM! WE WANT ICE CREAM!!!"
I thought surely she would say more, but she didn’t have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. J amie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.
Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and fifty percent of America reacts like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other fifty percent know they're going to have to feed the cow.

But it is not too late yet... I feel prayer can continue to change the stats.. I see it working!! Please continue to pray!!
Janet.. so sorry for the sinus infection...have you tried the McNeil sinus kit..it flushes out the sinuses. Love it.. haven't had an infection since I started using it.. I flush as soon as I feel symptoms. Helps clear away one too.

Do any of you guys actually listen to the facts? Barack Obama is not going to "nationaize" healthcare. If you have private insurance, you will keep it. But, if you are ever in a situation where you LOSE your insurance or you are self-employed....you will have the option of going onto the same healthcare plan as goverment employees. Which will be much cheaper than buying private insurance. Does that sound like nationalizing healthcare?
One of the reasons that I am afraid of doing PChef full-time is because I will have to pay $1500 a month for health insurance. under Obama's plan, I can elect to pay for the goverment insurance (which I could afford) and quit my job and start my FULL TIME PChef business!
Many people have concerns about Obama's policy on national health care. Some worry that it will lead to long wait times, like in other countries with similar systems, and that it may not be as effective as the current healthcare system.
Another worry is about Obama's foreign policy. Some individuals have family members in the military and are concerned about the safety of their loved ones. They may also question the decision to withdraw troops from certain areas without a clear plan for their safety.
Some people have noticed that when Obama speaks, he often lacks specifics in his plans and ideas. This was also a concern during his previous campaigns. Without concrete details, it can be difficult to fully understand his policies and their potential impact.
There are concerns about Obama's focus on unions, social programs, and the middle class. Some feel that he is not truly representative of the middle class since he has been financially successful. There are also concerns about the effectiveness and sustainability of unions and social programs, as well as potential abuse of these systems.
Overall, there are many worries about Obama's policies, ranging from healthcare to foreign policy to the middle class. It is important to thoroughly research and consider all aspects of his policies before forming an opinion or making a decision at the polls.
