chefmeg said:Rachel was a really bad napper~stopped taking full-fledged naps at about 18 moths old....so we had "FOB" time....meaning "feet on bed"! She could play with toys, look at books, but not take her feet off the bed! Ususally, she koncked out if she got still long enough!
ChefBeckyD said:YEA! Just got off the phone with my new consultant! After talking it over with me some more, she has decided to just go ahead and get started - and make the show I was going to do her own Grand Opening Show! She is going to do so awesome! I am so excited for her.....we have our big Fall Season Kickoff for our cluster on the 11th, and she is coming with me......
janetupnorth said:Great! I think that will be best for her!
amy07 said:Meg, please share the secret to HO Leads. I have only had 2 that ever signed, and both have been kitnappers. The others never give their numbers and NO response to email or snail mail.
ChefBeckyD said:OH WOW OH WOW OH WOWEEEEEEE!!!!
Just got off the phone with ANOTHER woman I have been working with for the past 2 years....and she is signing online either tonight or tomorrow morning!
She is a guidance counselor at a Jr Hi school, and has been another EXCELLENT host....one of those ones who has become a good friend...
It's finally happening for me! My first call for my Executive Director's Dream Team is this Wednesday, and I am going to be on the call with 2 new consultants!
On my team, I now have:
2 Inactive - but one will turn in a show this month, I'm pretty sure.
1 Active & qualified - but not personally recruited
1 Active & qualified
2 Brand New!
janetupnorth said:Becky - I am so loving saying this...
I told you so...over and over and over again...
janetupnorth said:You are getting so close Becky - keep it up!
ChefBeckyD said:You are so smug!
But that's okay with me!
GourmetGirl said:Way to go Becky! Sounds like you are having a grrrreat day (pretend I was Tony the Tiger there )! Keep it up!
GourmetGirl said:Becky thanks for the chuckle... don't know why I said that - maybe because I had just worked out so I can blame those endorphins... yeah, that's it...
... or I am just a big dork...
ChefBeckyD said:Maybe you should check out our Nerds Unite group!
JAE said:Yay! for Becky and Meg's recruits.
To amy07 - not that I've ever had a home office lead, but I have been one. My advice to you would be just be nice and treat them kindly. Ask what info they would like to have and give it to them. If they say don't call because they changed their mind, then don't call but reply with a "let me know if you change your mind. Is it okay if I send you information whenever there is a signing incentive?" If the lead isn't solid don't sound disappointed. Sound like you get these calls every day and you're glad to help. Take it from someone who knows what it's like to have a director get really rude because I changed my mind about becoming a consultant after I asked for info. He was almost mad that I ever asked. If he would have been nice and helpful, I would have called him two years later when I decided the time was right.

I am soooo happy all of this is coming together for you!!!!
pampered.chris said:Alright, so I haven't ever posted in this thread but Jessamary motivated me today w/ her Pampering a Business and I got on the phone tonight. I called 3 cold leads for bookings (I haven't been able to ever get them at a good time and have had their info passed month to month for almost a year) and left one msg on a machine, 2 msgs with husbands, and talked to one person. The one I talked to wants me to call her in September about booking October or November. The hubby didn't act like he wanted to take a msg and I know the other one didnt! The voicemail I left, just called me back!! She apologized for breaking her moms rule of calling after 9pm and booked her September show!! YEAH!!! That puts 5 cooking shows and 1 catty on my September so far!!! SWEET!!!
ChefBeckyD said:Nope - you can't be me...cause I already want to be you!
I talked to Jennifer today (She's been on vacation for 2 weeks) and she is doing the Panera Bread Opportunity Night with me now! YEA! So, if no one comes, at least Jen will be there with me!
What is this? Did I miss a post?ChefBeckyD said:Nope - you can't be me...cause I already want to be you!

The concept behind "Ready to achieve 3-2-1 success in 2008/2009" is to set and achieve realistic goals in three different areas: physical, nutritional, and mental. This approach encourages a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.
The benefits of participating in the 3-2-1 program include increased accountability, motivation, and support. By setting and sharing your goals with others, you are more likely to follow through and achieve them. Additionally, you will have a community of like-minded individuals to provide encouragement and support.
This year's 3-2-1 program is an all-new thread, meaning it is a fresh start for everyone. It is a great opportunity for those who may have fallen off track last year to recommit and for new members to join in. Additionally, this year's program will have a renewed focus on accountability and holding each other to our goals.
Goals for the 3-2-1 program can be related to physical health, such as exercising a certain number of times per week or improving overall fitness. They can also be related to nutrition, such as incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet or reducing sugar intake. Mental health goals can include practicing self-care, reducing stress, or learning a new skill.
To join the 3-2-1 program and participate in the accountability thread, simply start by setting your goals and sharing them with the community. You can then check in regularly, share your progress, and provide support and encouragement to others. It is also helpful to set specific check-in days and times to hold yourself accountable and stay on track.
