This customer keeps calling me to complain that her neighbour hasnt got her return cheque from PC yet. I called PC to trace it. It was cashed. I am not sure at all what to tell this lady.

I have voted. I now get to sit around and wait for several hours until the results are allowed to start being released. But I now have the right to complain- and that is very important... lol

What did you have to vote for?? We vote the first tuesday in November...and our big ones this year are City Council and County Commissioners...there are some others but those are the ones that I am most concerned with.

Today is for the provincial government plus a referrendum about the voting process.

I did the whole process with PC. I called, got the reference numbers, shipped back the return, and had the cheque sent to the customer. When they first called a few weeks ago, I called PC and asked for a trace on the cheque and it came back cashed.

Can't you tell them that it is coming across as cashed so if they did not cash it they need to contact PC directly so that they can straighten it out...

Thing is I am talking to the neighbour- that ticks me off. She is a nasty gram. But yes, I think I will tell them to call PC and let PC tell them directly that the cheque in HER name appears to have been deposited. PC has a bank and branch address that make sense with the location too...

It amazes me the stuff that people will try to get away with.

My mom is coming to take me to look at this ridiculous flooring this afternoon. I hope directly after the boys head back to school. I want to lay down and nap when Martin does.

This show was loaded with people trying to get away with stuff. People all ordering on the same form to save the shipping, people bringing broken stuff from other consultants. One lady brought in one of the old retired foodchoppers and tried to convince me she bought it at a show 2 years ago. I lost a cutting board and a whisk at that show. I didn't follow up on any of the bookings from the show. NO one wanted to schedule a date but they wanted me to give the host credit. I was so tired of them by then that I didnt bother telling them the host gets DIDDLY unless you DO your show.

I can't say that I blame you...I love how people also think that we are stupid by trying to get us to believe that something is new than it actually is. As for the cutting board and whisk I am sure that they "accidentally" fell into someones purse.

I showed a lady who brought me a scraper where the date stamp was on it- that clearly showed 7/97. PLEASE do not try to tell me THAT is a couple months old.

I would let PC know that she claims she has not received it yet and see what PC will do from there. They can photo copy the front and back of the check and see the sig of who signed it, the date and location.

Did she say why? If it is no a ligit excuse I would not give her a prime date unless it was last minute. Let her know that this is not a hobby for you, it is your JOB. She cancled her last 2 shows so that is two days of work that you missed.

The first date her dh got a new job with different hours. This time she says she found out 2 days ago about a soccer fundraiser conflict for her daughters team. This lady also says she s interested in being a consultant in the new year.

I can't believe they took your stuff!! The nerve!!

I personally do not do returns unless it is a really good customer or an adjustment or return in 30 days from one of my shows. If someone brings an item to a show I tell them how to return because they will need their receipt.

Dunno- but I dread talking to this neighbour lady. She is from another congregation of my church and liked me until she found out that we LIKED the congregation we were at and wouldnt change.

It was the middle size- I am always so darn busy at the close of a show that they could have walked out with nearly anything.

I have lost different things through the years. I am sort of numb to it.
