That's so nice. Do things cost a lot in CA? I know the housing market is outrageous. I think we would live in a carboard box. I don't know how the average person makes it.

Yes. Our rent is only $900 a month b/c my MIL owns our house. Average rent for a 3 bedroom house here is about $1500 or so.

Oh ya, and my only recruit that I have just told me she wants to start coming to meetings with me and also to watch me do some shows. She's thinking about giving PC an honest try. Up until now her Dh made fun of her so she only did a catalog show here and there to stay active. Now he's willing to let her quit her job after the 1st of the new year if she can make PC work!
Well, get her working that would be great!  :p :D

The average person affords rent/morgage here by moving in about 10-15 family members. That's frustrating.

Actually silly there is a webding and wingding... Also if you find one you like to use alot in the Insert - symbol - look at the bottom - it shows the "quick key" to type in for any symbol.

Like it shows - alt-control r for ®

(Yes, Kim ← Nerd) :D
No full of information! And we love that! Don't think we won't ask again, because I'm not going to search for this post when I need it and can't remember. Like 50 pages from now.

I've been pushing her for the past year and even gave her a $70 order on Sunday so she could get in her qualifying show. After that I was going to be done pushing her then she told me all this stuff about wanting to really try to make the biz work!

That'll be nice b/c then I really do need only 1 more to be a futuer director!

One of the characters on Veggie Tales uses the word "tremendous" in the episode of Dave and the giant pickle. I like that part. LOL. :D

Ya know there is some great while you wait for your kit training stuff on another thread. I'm thinking of doing it like I'm starting all over. I need a push and something to focus on. When I started I didn't get much training, and I think I could use some. It's funny that's what I used to do train. You'd think I'd be better for myself. I don't like my boss!

Part of that is exageration, but I'm sure there are plenty of peeps in this town that really do that full time. You see like 10 cars parked in front of their house. (and not b/c they have $$ either)

I know. I need to set my goals, and get busy doing what it takes to get there. I'm really good at talking, no actions so much. I do want to have a good Novemeber so I need to get on that now. I'd like another show or two for October. I really don't know that I want to do a ton of shows a month, but if I had them on the calendar that would be nice. I have a hard time getting the bookings. I think I'm fun. I think I'm going to have to tape my show and watch it. That's what they say to do. UGH:yuck:  :grumpy: :yuck:

Now that I have more shows on my calendar, it seems like I'm able to get more. Does that even make sense?

We'll see if it stays that way for November and December though.

I don't think I want to do a bunch of shows, but I NEED the money and would like to earn a trip next time around. I would LOVE to pay off my $9000 credit debt. That's my dream.

It does make sense, you are more comfortable with your show, you probably host coach to get people there, and you're just in front of more people. I know it's a numbers game for us too, sales, bookings, recruits. Just keep asking. See I know what to do, I just have to do it.

Yep! My director sometimes will take her report that shows all the interested people it's like 80 pages and tell people that it's not that she doesn't want to do a show for them, if they don't set a date they will go on her waiting list to be called, she flips the pages and says I don't always get through the list before the dates fill up.

That's smart. Only thing is I'd have to make up names.:(

My SD tell's people that say they can't book that month, "Oh, I don't have any openings this month....I thought you were thinking about next month and I only have a couple dates open then too."

Keep up your great months and you'll be able to get one. I keep thinking if I get busy I could save some money to get one. I had one we didn't use too much, and the battery died:cry:  It's now a desktop computer, it's not worth getting a new battery for it. Besides, it had a CD-R drive that it doesn't recognize anymore. I don't know. It's sad, but life also.

That is so true! That's why I think it's funny when peeps say no to the business b/c they're too busy. You can tell them "That's perfect, look at all the contacts you already have!"
