Now I just checked my Pan points and I have 2631 points! Only 2400 to go to reach my goal....LOL!

  • #11,806
You have to hold the alt key down and type then numbers from your number key pad not the top. Here goes:

alt 0174 = ®
0188 = ¼
0189 = ½
0190 = ¾
0176 = °
0169 = ©
411 = ¢

Those are the one's I know. I love the 350° it's so nice to be able to type that in when you have a recipe.

I made a cheese sauce in my SS 3qt and it got a little cooked on the bottom, I soaked it a little and used a nylon scraper. No trouble getting it clean. Yes, a non stick would have been easier. But dh really likes the SS too, and I thinks that's why I got it. Well, and it is for my birthday. The sets are really nice I love the long handles. They have a nice weight to them, and they are so pretty.

Yep, you should see if she wants to collect orders and get it 60% off. It is totally worth the price! You know it and I know it. If she collects $150 it's only what $78 for the 12qt stockpot, or less for the professional 8qt. Remember she only needs to sell 15 cookbooks.:eek:

Hi all,

Just got home from my meeting. I am pretty wired so sleep won't be coming easy.

  • #11,826
Hi Kim! Was it your cluster meeting? Any great info to share?

  • #11,827
I just got a email saying that someone went on to my webite and checked the contact me about being a consultant box!

It was a lady from a party I just did and I joked with her husband that he would make a great consultant! I gave him some info about the business and told him to consider it but haven't been able to get through and follow up.

She put in the comments area:

"Don't tell my husband, but I think you should contact him about the business again. He was telling me he wondered if he should give it a try....."

The way my Word is set up when I type in 1/2 and hit the space bar it will automatically change to the format to look more like the what you get from 0189. Sometimes when I am doing a list like a, b, c but putting them in paranthesis - when typing the (c) it will automatically change to the © - if you don't want that - hit the control and z and it will undo what it just did.

Just in case you are looking for others you can do it in Word (and bet it would similiar in WordPerfect). You click on the Insert Menu and then symbol - choose choose almost any font and scroll through. If you want more of a picture in your document, choose the font Wingdings.

If you need help, let me know. It is cool (but then again I have been acused borderline geek).

I went to the school today and told her that it was more than we thought price wise but I'd give her my 60% off host special if she still wanted it.

She said "That's okay, you don't have to do that. Just give me the 4qt. professional for $100" then she handed me $120 and told me to keep the change!!!!

I'm using $12 of my free credit to get her the ladle since she was getting the pot for her soup.:thumbup:

I really HOPE so but I've been close before so I'm trying really hard not to get too excited! I'm supposed to do a show for them in December. That would be sooooo cool if he signed up! Plus they can speak spanish so that would be a whole other market for them around here. We are a very agricultural area.

Talk to them now and see if he wants to sign and do his own show! It would be great for them too, they could get in on the this great recruiting promo. I was looking up the 4qt in my catalog on my desk only to find out it's the Spanish one. I don't know much Spanish. Dh cousin speaks Spanish, Italian, German. The teaches Italian and Spanish. I can't even get her to have a party.

Her teacher from last year is so great! When she knows things are tight for us, she says "Are you guys needing any grocery money?" I always say no but I know she would give us grocery money if I needed it!

BTW, she won a $500 gift certificate from being Walmart's "teacher of the year." No suprise there!

That's so nice. Do things cost a lot in CA? I know the housing market is outrageous. I think we would live in a carboard box. I don't know how the average person makes it.

Oh ya, and my only recruit that I have just told me she wants to start coming to meetings with me and also to watch me do some shows. She's thinking about giving PC an honest try. Up until now her Dh made fun of her so she only did a catalog show here and there to stay active. Now he's willing to let her quit her job after the 1st of the new year if she can make PC work!

Actually silly there is a webding and wingding... Also if you find one you like to use alot in the Insert - symbol - look at the bottom - it shows the "quick key" to type in for any symbol.

Like it shows - alt-control r for ®

(Yes, Kim ← Nerd) :D
