I had a customer order 2 of these and say to their husband "that's what you use for that salsa you make".
Does anyone have a recipe for the southwest salsa or anything else that they use southwest seasoning for?
Another customer ordered 5 of these. It's a seasoning I really don't know...
Has anyone made this recipe in the grill pan using a pantry rub in place of the fajitas seasoning? I was thinking about using the SW Seasoning at a show. Thanks.
Anybody know what would be a good substitute for the Asian Seasoning in the Asian Stir-Fry recipe? I don't have any, but I have the rest of the stuff ready to go. I was going to borrow some from my sister but she's not home!
One of my hosts just called me. She's making the Chilled Seafood Salad recipe from the Super Salads Recipe Collection. It calls for 1/2 a packet of Pantry Picnic Salad Seasoning Mix. What is this?? Neither of us have ever heard of it. Anyone know what could be substituted in its place...
OK....I haven't ever done the pass around salsa, but I have an upcoming show where I'd like to try it. I've searched the old posts here, and I have a question. I saw 2 different versions of the pass around salsa - one that uses the SW seasoning and one that doesn't. All the other ingredients...
I love to try new things when I'm cooking...sometimes they don't work out as well as I had hoped but other times, I nail it. Last night was one of those times!
I had purchased the Sun-dried tomato seasoning but hadn't used it yet. Well, I was making potatoes for dinner and got into that "I...
Hey All,
Okay (dumb) question for you- I have a box of the mix and the packets look good....the mix moves in the packaging without it being dried out/hard as a rock. Soooo is it still good or should I pitch it in the trash?? I bought it off the outlet a while ago!
Thanks!
Ok all of you "seasoned" cheffers (ha, no pun intended!)....I'm looking for a GOOD substitute for the old Cajun seasoning because I'm wanting to cook the cajun chili cornbread skillet in my groovy 12" skillet at a show. Should I just use the Southwest and maybe add a habanero to the mixture for...
How much do you use of this when making it for a show as an extra dish? It says 2 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp water and 2 tsp seasoning. Do I need to double this? Will it fit in the small bamboo dip bowls if I double it?
Is there anyone in the Joliet and surrounding area that has a Italian seasoning and smokey Barbeque rub that I could buy off you TODAY? I have a show tonight and forgot to order them last week. my phone number is 8159539764.
Thanks.
Hey all,
I just used the last of my bell pepper and herb seasoning (which is my husband's absolute favorite) and I am in desperate need for more. If you have any you'd be willing to sell, please email me at [email protected].
Thanks!
Jackie
OK - so I was par boiling my potatoes for the roasted potatoes with my dinner tonight - looked and realized that I was on the phone while prepping and made way too many - any how - I decided to do them the "regular" way (so there are no complaints!) and take a few more and throw them in a ziploc...
Following the directions on the package, I fixed it "for bread dipping." I took it to last night's team meeting, and it was a huge hit! I served it with a French baguette from Panera. Darn tasty.
I just returned from the market with all the fixings for tacos...except the seasoning mix! I can't deal with going out in the sub-zero weather again, so I would appreciate any/all tips you have on making my own taco seasoning. I do have most of a jar of our SW seasoning mix and a pretty wide...
What can I use as a substitute for the SSMix, until my order gets here? (We're CRAVING the white chicken chilli....it's been so cold and rainy, it's the perfect comfort food!)
I am making a recipe that calls for the Southwestern Seasoning Mix TONIGHT! I just realized that I don't have that seasoning. Help! Does anyone know an alternative?:confused:
I had a show the other night. We were thinking of using her round stone for something and she got it out for me. It looked incredibly well seasoned, almost black. It had some residual food on it, so I took it to the sink to clean it up real quick so we could use it. Well, as I was using the...
Okay, I think I've figured out how to season my fluted stone, but I'd also like to season my Large round with handles. I've been using it quite a bit, but it looks awful. It isn't seasoning evenly, spotty and just dirty looking (not the good brown look). I understand for the stones with edges...
I have seen a few of the Seasoning Sample Pack/Envelopes on here but they are PDF. I have no idea how to change the information. I love the way it looks & would like to do more than the dill & southwestern. Anyone know how to change the info? I am not sure who even "invented" the envelope...
Does anyone have a good substitute for this? The recipe (the moroccan lemon chicken pitas) suggests using curry powder as an alternative, but I'd like to try to duplicate the taste of the seasoning.
TIA!
Okay, I have a question...it's probably stupid, but please don't throw anything at me! :)
What is the seasoning process like for you? How do your stones get dark all over? My bar pans and rectangle stones and baker are staying light where the food is, but changing color around the edges...
is there something you can subsitute for greek seasoning I thought I read it somewhere on here but can't find it? I am having a jewelry show and would like to have this what else would go good with this it can be pc or non pc food?
So I'm planning on making little seasoning packets for the OH I'm having on 8/16. I've got Dill at home and smoe others coming this week.
The little bags I have don't zip. Will it be ok to staple them do you think? Or should I try tape?
Any suggestion on what I should put on the label I'm...
And REALLY want to try the Satay pasta salad!
I saw in the cooks tips that we could use "fresh ginger root." I am wondering if I can't just use GROUND GINGER and if so ... how much?
