My recruiter has a PC cookbook that is devoted to kid friendly recipe's and I would like one, but can't find it anywhere. If anyone has an extra or wants to sell theirs resonably priced, I would be very interested.
I'll be the first to admit it, my son probably watches too much TV. He's fascinated by the infomercials too. He constantly tells me all about these 'great products' and that I need to hurry and order them before they are all gone! (and if I hurry and call I'll get another one free! LOL)...

OK, all you creative fellow cheffers! I've been given the opportunity to teach adult and kid cooking classes through the local community ed program.

I've got my cover letters completed as well as proposed...
My older daughter turns 9 today:eek: Where on Earth does the time go? I know some of you have kids much older...but man, it's so hard to believe how each year goes faster & faster.
(we've been joking all week with her, saying it's just Flag Day today...she doesn't think that's too funny though...
For those who have done this successfully -
1. What ages have you specified for the kids?
2. How many kids have you had at one time?
3. How much have you charged for the class? What kind of products have you given to the kids?
I am needing so ideas from everyone about doing this. I have just moved to a new little town and am wanting to do this. We have a lot of little kids around here and I think that the kids would love it.

Has anyone done a kids cooking class? I'm thinking about trying to set up a cooking class somewhere maybe contacting a rec center or someplace for kids ages 4-8 to do a kids cooking class on a Sat. My idea was to have a parent come with the child and have them purchase a kit (not sure yet what...

The History of 'APRONS'
I don't think our kids know what an apron is.
The principal use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven.
It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on...
