My 5 yr old is on the phone with my DH right now. He's telling his dad how he made breakfast. "I made cereal" he says. " I TOLD you I was a Pampered Chef!".
:D
I received this email that I thought I would pass along.
If you have children or grandchildren, work with children at church, or you
have neighborhood children whose parents you know, please take note of the

Stephanie's thread about Christmas reminded me I never posted this.
Luke has asked for Spike the Dino for Christmas. Well, he cost about $150. Luke is VERY bad at wanting something and then never playing with it. I told him that toy cost lots of $ and before he asked Santa for it he had to...
Our little buddy, AJ, is having a lot of trouble eating right now because of his leukemia treatments. The docs are giving mom a few more weeks to try, but are talking about putting in a g-tube soon if things don't change. His little 9 year old body is down to 51 pounds:eek:.
She's looking for...
Ok, I've done cooking with kids shows before and they worked out fine. However, I have a host that wants to do a cookie show with kids (ages 3-10) and to top it off, she just moved here from NY and said that she had one last year like this and it was a blast. AGGHHH!!!! I don't really care for...
I just had to share about this book. We got it out of the library last week and it has instantly become a favorite here! My kids LOVE IT (they are 4 and 2), and I love reading it. It's one of those really fun books to read! My mom asked us to get it for her for Christmas after reading it to...
I wasn't sure which section to post this in....
If I have 4 kids, do I have to choose 2 of them to go on the trip or can I pay for the other 2? Is that allowed?
I am having a Holiday Kids in the Kitchen Workshop in my home on Saturday. We are making sugar cookies, brownie lollipops (my revised recipe) and I want to do a punch and make something with the cut n seal. Any ideas? I'm mostly looking for a punch recipe that is not so "summery", but I would...
Holding Kids Cooking Classes and ran short on these items. They were on the outlet and are now gone. Need 4-5 more but willing to buy as many as I can find.
I had received some in my surprise boxes while at conference and thought maybe someone out there did too and doesn't need them.:)...
Hi all,
At my show last night I got booking for a kids show, where Mom has triplets that are age 8, and she said they are getting more curious on helping in kitchen and she knows that lots of her friends kids are around same age and they all are trying to let them help, but don't have many...
So I was talking with my host on Saturday after her show and she was asking me about some things when the topic came up about offering these different style shows. I mentioned the power cooking, cookie exchange (Homemade for the Holidays, also), and the Kids in the kitchen Shows (or...
It's like re-gifting.
You send your kids out trick-or-treating, and when you run out of candy at the door, you hand out your kids' candy.
That's a re-treat.
:D

This is the link to my Kodak gallery. We took the Kids to Dussle Farm for pumpkins last weekend. We go every year and the kids always have so much fun. Christopher liked to lick the pumpkins, I think...
I have made this letter to send out to parents in my kids classrooms, I was looking for input, does this sound good? I hope so, I really would like to focus on kids cooking classes, and catalog shows. I can't seem to interest people in cooking shows lately :(
I hope this works, I am not good...
So I'll be at this event next Saturday for 2 hours. I plan on having discontinued kids stuff for sale...aprons, measuring cups, cookie cutters and recipe cards.
However, I want to create a flyer to hand out to parents of "healthy foods" and snack ideas for kids.
Anyone have something like...
AKA "Colic", "Milk Allergy"
When my DD was born - we realized after 6 months of HELL - that she was suffering from Acid Reflux. We coped best we could and were REALLY watching for signs when our DS came along. He had it as well - so both kids were treated with medication. Well, it is VERY...
I just filled in my calendar for the next month or so and with all the kids' activities we have a sport or some other event almost every school night. I need some ideas for what to make for dinner that won't take long but will be something a 5 & 7 year old will eat.
What has worked for you...
Hi there, I get emails from a meal planning site and this weeks was about kids in the kitchen. I thought some of you might be interested. I can not remember if you will need to be a member of the site to view but I will post the link anyway.
Kids in the Kitchen
How big are they? Are the thick enough to cut through an entire sandwich after it is made? I have a Wilton one that I love that does that. I cannot stand having to cut each slice of bread and the meat seperately. Luke loves shapes for sandwiches! I probably just need to buy more Wilton.
Hi All!
I am going to be doing a "Kids in the Kitchen" type of show for some Girl Scouts. It will be set up as a fundraiser for a local shelter so they can get their cooking badge AND another badge for fundraising for the shelter.
I am pretty sure these girls will be around 9 or 10...
I'm hiring my 8 y/o neighbor to stamp catalogs and paperwork for me this afternoon. I figure there's about 250 items that need to be stamped.
How much should I pay her?
I'm thinking of doing one of these. Does anyone have any ideas and tips? Also, for those of you that have done this, what recipes did you use? I don't have any of the kids cookbooks. Thanks!
God bless,
Amanda
