My 3rd grader wants to do the science fair & we're trying to come up with a good/easy project. I'm thinking maybe something to do with plants; like different rooms' light...
Has anyone ever organized some sort of fair themselves... a craft fair or a vendor fair? I was thinking of doing this but not sure how to go about it.. any info would be great!
I'm doing a Women's show on Feb 2 and I NEED to get at least 5 February bookings there. I have a hard time getting bookings at fairs. I get lots of leads and a fair number of them eventually turn into bookings...any ideas for getting people to pick a February show that weekend??
I have a bridal fair next week and tons of old mini cattys - new product ones and Christmas ones. I came up with this poem to put on the front so I can pass them out.
For your wedding day,
You’ll need something BORROWED
And something BLUE.
Here is something that’s OLD,
But it’s filled...
Hello everyone,
Wanted to let everyone know about a booth we were involved in the past weekend.
Our Director pays for this booth every year. It is a HUGE children's consignment event (over 2,000 sellers and 20,000 buyers). To pay for the booth and the "drawing" prize we had to give away...
I am doing a bridal fair this weekend and hope to have some success with new leads?! I've been reading the threads and I am a little nervous about how it will go as it doesn't sound like the overall all trend is that great. The organizer said they expect 300-350 brides and about 700 people...
I am working two Women's Health Fairs, one in January; one in March. I am looking for a document(s) that would list ways PC products can help someone be healthy and live well. Any ideas you can share with me?

Hi everyone!
I am gearing up for a huge fair in February 08. It is a grand opening of an indoor kids complex which will have a coffee shop, indoor play area (kind of like gymboree type of equipment) and some boutique shops as well.
I've already paid my table and ad fees, but now I'm...
Hi everyone...

I've called them each 2 times, the people i only had e-mail addresses for i e-mailed them twice as well. NOT...
I know I saw a thread around here about this but the last one I found didn't have many responses.
I have done 3 craft shows this month and haven't followed up!
The first one I did I had people fill out their own draw slips. The majority of them have no's or no answers at all to my...
Hi, i have my first vendor fair tonight and i'm afraid i'm bringing WAY too much for display. here's what i have so far

Hi,
I'm participating in my first vendor fair tomorrow night and i bought 200 holiday mini-catalogs and 200 chocolate bliss recipes cards to give out with my information on it.
BUT, several people in my cluster say the best way to get customers is by giving an actual catalog. I was only...
I'm going to be calling past customers / hosts and some people who entered their name into a draw at a fair I attended. I'm going to offer 20% off for a specified period of time. I also want to ask them to book. All of these people have been asked at least once by me if they would be interested...
Has anyone had a successful bridal fair? I have one that I am thinking of doing that is in January. The cost is $595. That part scares me. The organizers have all the brides register with them, so we get a listing of all the contact info. The fair has been going on for 20+ years, and is...
Hi All!
I have a bridal fair coming up (yea! ) and I have a promo that if people order a minimum of $10, they will be entered in a drawing to receive up to $200 in free product. So it's a mystery host type of thing.
The question is what payments do you accept? I think because...
Ugh...this stuff is catching up with me.
I am doing the first of 5 fairs tonight. I have no idea how to set up my table.
I am not creative and need help.
Post your ideas here!
Thanks!
I have my first Bridal Fair tomorrow night (Thursday). It is only from 5-8 p.m. at a Country Club, open to the public, cash bar, appetizers, limited to only 15 vendors. And the best part - FREE!!! I only get one 8' table. My thought is to keep the table simple, plus I am NOT creative at all...
