Just Ask has been a phrase in our business for a long time. I've been doing a fair for the last two days in a small town. I had a lady today visit my booth that's in her early 50's. She loved the product. We talked about booking a show (she lives 2 hours from me, but who doesn't like to go...
I think I have another consultant interested in buying the black lapboards with the PC logo on them (11) but what is a fair price? I don't remember what I paid for them.

I have done the Street Fair in my town for the past two years (2-3 time a year)
I have always done it alone, because all 5 of my recruit signed after the season. I have always done well - usually $200-500 in sales and many leads that have resulted in future sales, bookings, referrals and even...
A local assisted living place has an annual gift fair for residents, family and friends. I used to do this fair when I sold jewelry and didn't have much success. The year I was there, the PC lady didn't have much luck either.
I blew off the last one they held so I could do a training for...
I'm trying to decide if I should do this expo, it's about 1 hour away. My goal right now is to get new contacts outside my family and friends and also get recruits but I'm not sure I want to go an hour away. How far do you drive for an expo/fair?
I am interested in organizing a vendor/ craft fair at a local Women's Club and I am looking for pointers from those who have had success in this area. Here are the questions that I am really looking for some input on:
1.) How soon before Christmas is the most successful time to have one of...

I read in one of the threads here that pictures of products which would be received free at a show booked at the time of the fair are placed in bags, and fair guests can choose a bag, and open it to see the pic of their free gift.
My question is, are these suggestions of what they can get for...
I am trying to get ready for fair in a couple months and revamped a door prize slip using several ideas that I found on here. Just thought I would share as fair time is quickly approaching.
Ugh. I just found out that a fair I'm participating on Sunday has another PC consultant working it.
This is not a good day....
I am NOT wasting my time packing, prepping, driving, and sitting there if there is going to be two of us. I was planning on getting some sales and leads and...
Hi, Guys and Gals,
I hope you are having a great day. I thought I would let you know about a great way to promote your PC business!
Kellerfest, a three-day festival, will take place in Keller, TX town center (near Dallas/Fort Worth, TX) on May 30th, May 31st and June 1st. They anticipate...
I've done several vendor/craft fairs and want to try something different.
I want to put out the Food Chopper with the cutting board and the Mandoline with the Batter Bowl--trying to spark up interest for booking June shows!!! What are some ideal food/items to demo with these products? It has...
Hi, I'm looking for a director in Orange County who would be interested in taking over contact for a large bridal show in Anaheim twice a year. This is a great opportunity for you and your cluster. A group of us consultants have been working with the LA County show successfully and are...
I did a job fair yesterday afternoon and handed out recipes. One lady looked at hers - said "Ewww Artichokes", threw it back on the table and stomped away saying very loudly "shes only giving it to me because its got that coupon - I hate d*** artichokes".
I was shocked for about a second...
Hi everyone,
I have a street fair coming up Sunday and wanted an updated outlet items flyer, and thought I would share... I hope someone else hadn't already done one that I missed. Oh, and don't give me too much credit - I just borrowed the flyer someone else posted awhile back and edited...
I have the awesome opportunity to participate in a Job Fair next Thursday at the local community college. I will be able to showcase PC as well as get show leads. It is 4 hours and table space was only $30!!!! There will be college students there I'm sure - as well as people of all ages...
I just went to my first Bridal Fair on Sunday and I feel like it went really well. :) I made a lot of connections with the vendors and had over 100 people attend (mainly brides and their mothers). My question is, if someone fills out on their drawing slip that they are not interested in a...
Sorry, posted in wrong thread earlier :yuck: . Reposting

I am stuck! I have leads from a bridal fair and now am at a total loss as what to say. When I "wing it" they act like they really don't want to be bothered.
Does anyone have a script that they use to follow up with bridal leads and bride's families?
Sincerely,
Phone Phobic in Pekin
Ok I am doing a Vendor Fair on Sat. and I am to bring some food for the brunch. What would you bring that doesn't need to be kept warm and will feed alot?
Okay... there is more to this but I don't want to be long. If you have a guest at a show (that is a former customer) that wants something that will be a future "Host Special"... wouldn't you tell them? This host tonight got a little peeved that I mentioned a future Host Special and then this...
Hi this is my first fair - and not at all sure how to go about it. What products should I focus on - what give aways could I hand out. Does anyone ever make food? Any great ideas or suggestions on what NOT to do.
Thanks,
Cindy
Does anyone ever do street fairs? I have one listed in my area on April 20th, and it is $65 to sign up, but they have 200 vendors there and an estimated attendance of 8000 people. I am just wondering if this is worth it?
Also, the only contact information is where to send a check to for the...
Has anyone done one of these before? Was it a good experience? I am thinking about doing one but it is expensive so I am just trying to weigh my options out. Thanks.
