I have a really old vanilla oval baker that I love - but it is on its last legs. I am wondering if I should get the cranberry oval before they are discontinued or if I should get the deep dish baker (one of the only stones I don't have already)
Can you guys tell me what you would do? Is...
I'm so excited -- my DCB got here yesterday. I wanted this so badly I bought a new microwave that would be big enough for it, even though I really didn't need a new one.
Anyway -- what should my first recipe be tonight? I'll have time to make something cool, so I'm going to save the 30 min...
It's sweet corn time in Indiana! Yippee! I love the stuff right off the cob. However, The Furry Guy likes his to be cooked and then cut off the cob. Since I love him oodles, I do this for him. However, it's a real pain. A bowl is too deep and narrow. If I use a plate, the kernels roll off...
An upcoming host wants to do the Apple Nut Ring for her show.
The recipe calls for the Deep Dish Baker, but I don't have one. Any suggestions on what item to use as a replacement? I was thinking the large bar pan, but wanted some feedback.
Thanks!
I know this has probably been asked already a thousand times, but I can't find it on here. How long do you cook 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast (1-1/2 lbs) in the deep covered baker? Also, do you cook these with the lid on or off?
Does someone have this recipe typed up? I've got the potential for selling 3 or 4 of the DCB'ers and want to send this to the folks that are interested. They're really interested in the 30-minute or less recipes you can do in the DCB in the microwave. Any other suggestions? I have the ones...
I do NOT deep fry because of the mess it makes. However, we were at a party a couple of months ago and the host made some deep fried shrimp. They were so good and the coating was so light and fluffy that I though it bought it from somewhere. I think I want to get one for DH for Father's Day...
I have a customer looking for only the bottom of their Deep Covered Baker in Vanilla (customer is in Alabama).
Any one out there have one, by chance?
Mahalo!!
My host wants to make this pizza but I do not have a deep dish baker. What I have are the deep covered baker, deep dish pie plate, and rectangular baker. Which would be the best to use for this recipe???
I made a peach & blueberry cobbler from a recipe that my wife and I saw on the food network. We made the cobbler in our deep dish baker. We now have a bunch of blueberry stains (spots) on the bottom of the baker.
Anyone have any good tips that will remove the stains without harming the...
My new favorite product is the deep covered baker... I have done the pork in the microwave. I have also done some boneless skinless chicken breast with rub on them. I would love to find more recipes that use the microwave not the oven. I am not very good at searching yet...
A friend of mine told me he ordered the deep covered baker off of my PWS (this is after I talked to him for like 10 seconds telling him how great the 30 minute chicken is -- I need to advertise it more!). Do we get emails notifying us of outside orders? I haven't heard a thing...
I absolutely LOVE this pan! My mac and cheese hasn't come out any better. But the handle to the top is HORRIBLE!!!! I just broke my second top. Split it in half because I dropped it due to the handle being so small. That coupled with the top being so heavy because it's stonewear, when you...
I just had a customer call looking for a French Vanilla deep dish baker, which is sold out.
If anyone has a new one that they would like to part with, please let me know.
Thank you.
I am in need of just the lid to the cranberry deep covered baker. If anyone has one and would be willing to sell it to me please contact me at [email protected] or through private message on here.
Thank you,
Michelle
Does anyone know right off hand how big your microwave has to be so that the deep cover baker fits?? I have a show tonight and my host just called and thinks her micro is too little!!
First of all, let me preface this with the fact that I have been a director for 5 years. I have a team of about 16-18 give or take a few each month. Our meetings are ALWAYS the 2nd Monday night of each month. I plan the year in advance, and let them know in January what we are doing.
I get...
I'm trying to decide. I really can't afford to buy either of them but I love the DCB...but I know I can do micro cakes in the Fluted Pan.
Which should I get?
Has anyone had experience with baking casseroles in the DCB? I have a customer asking about cook times (she had to add a lot of time before the chicken in her casserole was done). Is this common? Does it get better as it gets seasoned?
TIA! :)
In light of Becky's "I Love..." thread and her fantastic recipe for the Fast Chicken Fajitas (which if you haven't already tried them, they are marvelous!). I would love for you to post your favorite recipes for the DCB.
I am going to promote the bejeebers out of this thing in all my...
I have a hostess who would like to do a soup and slippers show. I want to cook the soup in the deep covered baker to be able to showcase the stoneware since it is the special, but I only have the Smashed Potato Soup Recipe. Are there any more that I don't know about? I would like to give her at...
I've researched and found that most of the recipes for the DCB are of the meat variety. I'm looking at getting one for next month since I have a gal who would love to do a soup show and I'm figuring on using it in the microwave.
However, in my day to day use of it, are there any main dish...
Has anyone cooked a small turkey in the Cranberry Deep Covered Baker? I "donated" my regular roaster (not PC) in order to make room for my PC stuff. -- I don't make a whole Turkey very often -- and that is what DH wants me to cook for Christmas. I was just wondering if Turkeys come small...
I just got my order today with a Deep Dish Baker in it. There is the slightest nick in the inside of the dish. It is not sharp at all. Should I get it replaced?
I have a Small Deep Purple 3/4 Length PC Shirt from Merrill a couple seasons ago. I have only worn it once and it just wasnt me. It is in excellent condition. I looked on their website and they have one listed that looks just like it, just in different colors. They are selling them for $24.95...
I placed an order on Wed. and when placing it I never rechecked the orders forms  so since I made this mistake I left off a $16 order which in return made my host lost her $600 in sales so she only got $90 in free instead of $115 I still need to get the item I forgot to order for her show...
I have somebody that has a broken deep dish baker (the old style) and she is wanting to know what she can do? I have sent her an email asking if she remember when and who she bought it from or if she has the receipt? What do I do if she knows this or if she doesn't?
Also, know someone that...
I finally got my first return. I had someone open their Deep Covered Baker and it had a huge crack in the bottom. I've never done a return before and since the website is down if someone could explain the whole process I'd be grateful. Since its in the 30 day window they don't pay for shipping...
