I have a host who swears she had a Bamboo spoon that said Pampered Chef on the handle and that they were available singly.
I know that they used to have the logo stamped on them before they were redesigned. As far as I know, they were always sold in pairs, right?
She needs some for bridal...
One of my hosts used her new bamboo utensils to cook some food with curry. The curry has stained the spoon and the host asked what she could do to remove the stain. I suggested baking soda. Any one else have any suggestions?
I had someone ask me yesterday about bamboo and germs.
I know that wood cutting boards are horrible when it comes to germs..but do you have the same problems with bamboo?
Hi all - I'm a newbie and am hoping that I'm posting in the right area. A host has asked me why the bamboo paddles aren't available and I don't know what to tell her. Were they discontinued or replaced by another product? Please help.... :(
I've found some flyes in the files section that talk about the bamboo, but I can't find anything here or on CC that talks about why Bamboo tools are better than wood. I hear talk about it being a reed and a renewable resource, but I was hoping to find a fact sheet or something comparing the two...
Just realized the bamboo claws are not part of the March Host Special choice.. boo hoo:cry:. I think they are going to be a great addition to our line.
I just read an article on WalletPop in which the FTC stated companies are selling Bamboo clothing and textiles that are misleading and are actually Rayon. I checked their website and as of now PC is not on that list of evil doers. Just thought I would share in case someone has a customer...
The Furry Guy loves to use the old, shallow Small Bamboo Spoons to eat his morning oatmeal. If you have any that you're not using and are willing to give up, please PM me. They don't have to be NIP.
TIA!
ODORS!!! Does any one have an idea on how to remove odors from the cutting boards? My mom called and asked as she can not get rid of the onion odor from them. I have issues with the bamboo. So any ideas would be great. Oh and bleach did not work.
I honestly have never used the little bamboo ladle that comes in the bamboo serving set until today. I thought it was adorable, but it's just been sitting in a drawer, until now! I made the little "mini" pumpkin pies in the mini muffin pan, and in order to get the right amount of pumpkin pie...
I have a host who wants to be able to use her bamboo bowls with liquid items (think salsa). I was concerned that this might damage the finish and I'd end up with an unhappy customer.
I'll be calling her tomorrow.
Thanks for your help!
I need your help!
A host ordered the Bamboo Knife Block set and she LOVES it. Now she's asking what are the sizes for the slots because she wants to fill them in. It has 16 slots but the set came with only 8 knives. Does anyone know what they are?
I am just trying to save a phone call...
I've spent too much time at work searching with no luck -- someone help!
I remember reading that someone took a salad that was called to be made in the trifle bowl, and spread it out on the bamboo platter. Can someone recall what that was and post the recipe if possible?
Have an event...
I had a lazy day today and made Trader Joe's Spinach Artichoke dip
I didn't want to take the whole bowl at once, so I took the little snack bowl, and put chips on the cracker tray....it was really convienent, and looked nice at the same time. :)
I wanted to get another piece of Bamboo, I have the tray and the snack bowls.
Which one do you like the most the Bamboo bowl (Large or Med) or the Bamboo platters (large or small)
Just wondered your opinions to help me pick one out.
Thanks!
Kelly V.:chef:
Is the large bamboo platter covered for possible 'marking up'? Mine got a little marked up over the weekend and I just got it on Friday.
Thanks,
Stephanie
Has anyone else had the clip on their bamboo towel break? I opened one of my towels last week for the first time to clip a towel on the handle of my display crate for a booth. I had a "father's" section with BBQ tools, etc and the towels and such. I had clipped it on. When I went to do the...
I know someone asked this before, but I can't find the thread. Is anyone doing an "Earth Day" sale? I'm looking for a flyer/email (I'm computer challenged) for a one day sale, featuring the Bamboo. Can anyone help me out?
I posted on CS - but I need a sale to increase my sales this month. Was going to offer an Earth Day sale on our bamboo. Any ideas? There is a thread on CS,but I can't open the files. If any of you can and can post them here or there that would be awesome! TIA
my month stinks! I need a sale to boost my sales. I want to do an Earth Day sale based on bamboo, but I have no creativity/formatting skills. Anyone have anything they'd be willing to share? OR if you can convert the files under theme shows that would be FANTASTIC!!!! TIA
I agree that the Bamboo is going VERY well! Anyone have anything already typed up regarding the greatness of the bamboo - OR recipes for the bamboo products (other than our dipping oils) ?
I hope this is the right place for this. Through all my searches I couldn't find any Earth Day flyers pertaining to the Bamboo. I have a booth tomorrow and so I created some flyers and thought I would share them. As helpful as everyone is around here - if you can use them Great! If you can...
I just received my bamboo bowls that I bought through KE (earned the tray in Dec.). I love them. Do you have any ideas how to use them other than dipping oil? I can't wait to take them to a show.:chef:
Just checking. I'm afraid to use them with utensils. Has anyone had a problem with sctaching when using metal serving pieces, spreaders, etc?
I want to get rid of my bamboo phobia.
I have a customer that wants to know how the bamboo washes up. I have only used mine afew times and it cleans up great; was wondering if anyone has used theirs quite a bit and if they feel the pieces will continue to clean up great. Thank you for your input.
