Sure! Love these people! Napili Village | Napili Vacation Rentals | Bay Hotels*| Lahaina Resort | Napili HotelLoved reading their site and talked to Allisa, the wife. We got our room for 108 a night. You can get it for less if you rent a car thru them too but we got a free rentacar from our inlaws.lovenpc said:ChefCK, can I ask where your condo is and how you booked it. We will be going to Maui next year with Pampered Chef Canada and would love to go early and stay somewhere other than a hotel. I just have no idea where to start looking
Thanks

Ask the locals where the best seafood places are...not the desk.
Find out if they charge for refills on sodas. Our normally $40 bill was over $70.
See the volcano or lava tubes(if you can).
If you have the time then go to Waikiki and check out Pearl Harbor and Diamond head.

Great suggestions- but those are not on Maui, which is where the Trip-earners are headed...UNLESS you are staying longer and doing some island hopping.
We've been to Hawaii twice. When I said if you have the time it was meant...if you have the time to island hop. I've been to Oahu, Maui and the "Big Island". For us, it is a long flight so we always try to go for 10- 14 days and visiting at least 2 islands each time. My parents took us about 12 years ago and they went about 16 times. They always say anything under 10 days was too short They obviously were in love with Hawaii!
I suggested those places because you are so close and just a short hop away. A day trip works if extending your trip doesn't. PC will fly you home. You just have to pay the hopping fee

Buy two of the insulated totes (like the kind you would find at trader joes etc)...wrap your dark rum in one, bottle of wine in the other...check that bag with those in it (can use bubble wrap to be extra safe). Then you can make your own mai tais with guava and passionfruit juice......
Can I like this? Everything is super expensive in HI. I am planning to hit the liquor store here and pack it.

If I was not doing PC, I would be all over this. Anyway, they have the only all organic self-tanning lotion. Been using it for 4 days and have a nice glow! No Whale sighting when I walk by!!
BethCooks4U said:I know nothing about tanning products. Do you wear them in the sun or are they put on in the house to get color before you go out? After you use them do you then put sunscreen on when outside and gradually get a real tan? My history is that I don't go sun much and when I do I burn, then fade to white. I need color before I spend time in that part of the world but I want to know how to protect my skin...
Some of the top places to visit in Hawaii include Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor, Haleakala National Park, and the Na Pali Coast. Each of these locations offers a unique experience and showcases the beauty of the islands.
Hawaii is known for its outdoor activities, so be sure to try snorkeling, hiking, surfing, and whale watching. You can also attend a traditional luau or take a helicopter tour to get a bird's eye view of the islands.
Some must-try foods in Hawaii include poke, ahi tuna, loco moco, and shave ice. These dishes are all staples of Hawaiian cuisine and can be found at local restaurants and food trucks.
The best time to visit Hawaii is typically from April to September, as the weather is warm and there is less chance of rain. However, if you're looking to avoid crowds and save money, consider visiting during the off-season from October to March.
One insider tip is to rent a car and explore the islands on your own. This allows you to visit lesser-known spots and have more flexibility in your itinerary. Also, be sure to pack sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable shoes for your outdoor adventures.
