I don't want Heather to feel like we are ganging up on her, I want her to feel like she can always be honest if she wants and not be ridiculed or judged!

I was thinking about her all day. I was in a domestic abuse shelter for 2 months due to the behaviours of my first husband. It started small with words and little things while I was pregnant with the first, and by the time we had been together 9 years it was a full out disaster. I know what harm manipuation, controlling behaviours, and harsh words can have on a person. I worry.
