I have one sister- she is 2 years younger. We don't speak. She is a racist and I married outside of my culture, THEN I had the nerve to have a little brown baby.

I have one brother- he is 5 years younger. He is surprisingly normal considering our upbringing. He is a real estate agent and will be selling us our new house- hopefully next summer.

I feel bad for your sister to live life like that!

My understanding is that you can COME into Canada without a passport- your challenge will be getting BACK into the US. You could always just stay I guess? I wonder if you would qualify for refugee status and benefits if you couldnt get back into the US... that would be sort of funny actually....

You can leave, but you can't come back. I think you should have a passport! I need to get them for our girls. We have ours. I'm not sure that there has been much time in my life that I didn't have a passport. We traveled when I was younger.

It will cost up over $500 for passports and the girls expire in 2 years I think... thats just not worth it, not to mention food, entry to the zoo, etc....

It's only 2 years for kids now! It used to be 5 years.

I was busy. That baby didn't fall asleep until 3:30am. And the little rugrat woke up at 7:30 like everything was normal. I am going to have to really focus to get MYSELF through the day today.

I have to paint a bedroom, fix a toilet, get groceries for our new no eating out plan, get ink for my puter- I dont like yellow apples, and get 2 host packs delivered. I am sure there is more, but those are the key points. Oh- and get a star.

DH left at 8 this morning. He is teaching a class today. I thought he was supposed to be teaching for 3 hours, but apparently one of the other teachers bagged at the last minute and now he has to teach 6 hours- but its not 6 consecutive. There is a 3 hour session with AnOTHER teacher in the middle. So basically- he is out of the house for 9 hours today.

I think I am going to knit awhile.... I figured that out eh? I haven't tried to purl yet- but I can knit not too badly.

You all really posted, I think maybe 10 pages or so, but I went to bed after midnight. I'm on 467 with some reading I think a few pages, then 488 to 495 to read from last night. I really need to get busy on the house. I don't think dh will speak to me if I don't get something done. He may get a dumpster. That's what my bil did. I don't think he would actually do it, but I don't think I want to push him to think about it. We just have too much stuff.

That has happened to me. I have vowed no fewer than five times to never have an open house again... and I keep on doing it. I can have a webshow that gets over $600 in sales- did it in July this year- but I can't get 3 people out of 200 invitations to show up at my house. Infuriating. Then I flick on the computer after I have consoled myself in the food I made- and there are 8 orders people sent DURING the open house hours- with apologies that they couldnt make it. HELLO? You had time to sit at your puter- you couldnt drive/walk/bicycle 2 blocks to not be a JERK to your consultant??

Wow- nother pity party.

At least you get the web orders, but you didn't have to clean your house and make all that food for that. Sorry to hear it. I need to think about an open house. I know DON'T DO IT! I don't know if I can get my house to the point I can do one.

I am sorry no one showed. That has happened to me before. I have mailed about 200 invites to mainly get e-mails and phone calls saying they can't make it. I still set up "just in case" someone hasn't RSVPd but no one.

It is very frustrating.

Oh ya, I am still collecting orders for it and will close it on Sunday. My almost inactive recruit might be getting some of my sales so she can submit her $200 to stay active. She has $130 collected and so I told her to TRY really hard to get the rest by tomorrow. If she doesn't, I'll give it to her b/c it will be her 4th show and I'll get my 2000 points. Then if she goes inactive, oh well.

That is great you can do that for her. And if I recall your points, you would have no problem finishing up to get to Level 1 after her 2,000 pts.

Not sure if you use quick keys or not but if you hit Alt & Tab it will switch between programs really quickly. If you have several programs open at one just keep hitting it and it and you will can see which one you want to go to.

Like right now, I hit it once and it goes to my e-mail the next time will go to P3. It goes in the order of the last used program.

I know my list just keeps getting longer (inside voice says - Kim get off here! I say back. I will, I will. Just as soon as I catch up from this morning)

If I got a dumpster, it would kill me. Our subdivision is having a garage sale but I am just not ready. They do them twice a year so I am going to set a goal to be ready for the next one. I love it because they advertise and there is a bunch of people who come through.

Ok, I am caught up again.

I am going to take a shower, take my son to the game store, go to Lowe's for a new door handle for the sliding door (it breaks about every year or so), come home fix the door handle, fix the toilet, do the chairs, do the transitions between the other rooms and where the tile was put in, get laundry going and work on my dining room piles.
