dumb question... "first snow"?

Ya, my hubby is from Chile, South America. The snow where he is from is only in the mountains. He lived surrounded by mountains, but the snow is only something they SAW. They had to travel to the ski resort to TOUCH it.

Actually, I said, well, I'll finish my ice cream and wrap it up here. He said "you don't have to, I'm just wondering how long you'll be on.". WTF is THAT supposed to mean?
Men are such a pain sometimes. Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em. (sigh).

Thats funny- my dh just came down and asked if I was going to sleep tonight??? HUH??? Last I went and looked the baby was in my place, and I havent been to bed before 2am in MONTHS. Whats the deal now? I suppose he wants to go bowling? But he can forget it. My aunt is still visiting.

What is it that you do at the school? I am a retired teacher myself. I retired from teaching in the schools 6 maybe 7 years ago now.

I am filling in as an aide for the ESL kids. (ESL=English as Second Language).
They all can speak english...write and read English, but the comprehension is not really there. Kind of comical, because I don't speak Spanish. The school was looking for someone to commit to 10 weeks, so the kids have a little stability. so, dumb me says sure. well...9 weeks left. This is going to be worse than the last 9 weeks of pregnancy...will seem to last FOREVER!!!!!
