Does band practice REALLY mean band practice??? lol...

Funny, I have seen the trumpet and seen the uniform but can't help but giggle each time I see something about being off to band practice.

What was it when people would say "one time back at band camp. . . "

last year when i was doing home interiors i did a fundraiser that had a pc director there, there was also discovery toys, partylite and avon

i sold $25 the pc director sold over $600 and im not sure what the partylite lady sold but dont think it was near the $600

and i dont think there were more than 20 women attend

you will do ok but i'm like you and wouldnt count it as a booking till its over :D

Yup. I went with my trumpet, and sat at the end of a row of 8 other trumpets, with percussion behind, and trombones, saxophones, french horns, clarinets, flutes, baritones, tubas, oboes, and maybe others all in front of us. And the conductor waved his arms and we played for 2 hours. Our next concert is November 29th.

MAN, I am STILL a half hour behind!! :(

I never ever went to band camp- but I always wanted a T-shirt that said that..... But I did play in uniform- with the Navy Reserves for 5 years. Other than that, no 'uniform'. With one group I play with we wear all black to shows. With another group I play with we wear pretty much whatever we want on the bottom- usually jeans for most of them and one of 3 colours of top- whatever suits when we are getting dressed. With another group I play with, we wear a tuxedo sort of thing with bow ties to match the event- we play mostly weddings.

I dont think there is any chance of that my dear!
Thanks I hope they go well too.
Do you remember the girl that cancelled on me after driving an hour to get her house? She changed her show to a catty party bc she was certain she had atleast 5 more orders... Ya well, guess what, she was supposed to get back to me by Tues. I gave her a couple extra days to respond, nothing... Tonight I started calling her, no answer.... she calls me back and says.. "I have 2 orders for you so far, I am working on getting a few more... If I want the cook ware when do I have to close? Sept right?" I said yes bc #1 I want to get paid and #2 if she is having a hard time gathering up $150 in sales them it's not worth dragging it on.. If it's that bad I will just add somethings that my mom wants to her show.... but some are such a PIA!:grumpy:

Oh sorry, those catalogs I was talking about are not PC ones but Chadwicks, Lands End, Coldwater Creek, etc.

I never just throw away my PC catalogs - the out of date ones are the only ones I take to craft fairs.

I know, but I've been tired all this week, I'm sure from staying up past my bed time chattin. Not that this hasn't been great!
Besides Ellen and I are trying to go pink together. She has 74 more I think. If I go to bed she can go pink in the am if she can post that much. Which I do believe she can. Then I can go pink tomorrow and it will be on the same day. I know it might be a silly plan. If I stay on you'll just be typing away and all of a sudden boom I've fallen asleep at the computer. You all won't know what happened to me. And yes I could have gone pink with this post.

I think it is awesome you are waiting for her. It would be cool if you could do it at the same time!
