when was this???

Not too long ago actually- within the last 4 months. Someone was always always starting arguements no matter what got said and I called him a trouble maker and a word that is commonly used to refer to people who are like that. I think the moderators of the board were not too mad at me. I got an email that said- Try not to do it again.

This year its Paris for One or Paris for Two. Last year it was Mexico. Before that I would need help- my memory fails me.

My two older boys are away, the dh is off teaching and I just ordered 2 medium pizzas and 2 litres of pop. All for me. Think it might be hormonal?

Oh LOL I forgot it's called "pop" in Canada!:D

You also say "phone me" instead of "call me" too right?

We do say "pop" but I live in a border town so I know "soda".
We use phone me and call me interchangably.
There are some other quirks too. A friend of mine moved to Boston and listed some weirdnesses off to me from her office there. Something about rubber bands and elastics (???) pops into my head.

LOL, I used to date a guy in highschool ( 3 years ) whose family id from Canada. I got to go there twice with him. We liked to tease his dad a lot. Again and Again.

She spoke at Leadership a few years ago, and is amazing. When I was really sick a couple of years ago we invested in several of her cd's, and I really believe that your mind can do amazing things. I just have to remember that if I'm getting too stressed I have to relax and try to let it go. Let me find her website.

Once again, I had a boring day and their wasn't much activity on here, so I made my own ;) Sometimes you just have to entertain yourself LOL

Sounds good to me, Thanks Mary! As you've probably read, I have a lot of things going on right now, I think I am just getting a little overwelmed (sp?)!

My 3yr old will not go to bed unless I promise to only be on the couch watching tv or upstairs.

  • #7,441
I will be here probably talking to myself the rest of the night....

  • #7,442
It's worth it to get her to sleep without having to stay with her until she falls asleep.

I want to stay and chat, but it just doesn't work for me.:grumpy: If she gets too upset it's all over.

  • #7,444
I know we should just let her get upset, but she does not stop. Most children will cry for awhile, not her hours! Not fun.

  • #7,445
Thats why you need to invest in a laptop! No, really don't.... then you get yourself in trouble! I bought this when I started with PC. I used to hate computers! My DH was on it constantly and it drove me nuts and all I did was nag nag nag about it. I joined PC and "needed" it for business, or so he thought. And here I am, addicted LOL

  • #7,446
 You may get your yellow before I get back.

  • #7,447
It would be a great thing, but I would miss it. If you keep singing I will miss it.

I would love to have a lap top with wireless internet. It's just not in the picture right now. I'd really have to get serious.

I am right there with you, I can't do that with mine either, they will cry until they get sick:yuck: and then they go back to bed not feeling well and all stressed out, I just don't like to do that to them! So, I grab my laptop and go sit in their room with them until they fall asleep...(I know bad habit) and then half way through the night one or both end up in bed with us..Thank goodness for king size beds!

It also seems like there are a lot more things we need other than a laptop. I just can't do it right now. If I get more consistent, maybe I will think about it.
