friday said:Second booking IN! I am going to deliver her host package once my kids are all home from school. She is a repeat hostess from February and wants a show for Christmas shopping.
Two to go! I think I can! I think I can!!
Don't feel bad, My real name is Angela and I too was named after a soap star... I was supposed to be Angelique, thank god that didnt happen! My online name is Carissidy which is my daughters names combined Carissa is my youngest so I used "Cari" And my oldest is Cassidy and I used "idy"friday said:My "real" name is Alison. I hate that name. My parents were badly misguided I think. I was named after a soap opera character. I never did get over being offended about that. Most of my friends and family call me Al, but when you go by Al online people think you are a boy. friday is the online name I have been going by for so very long that I turn and answer when people say it. Plus it is a good opportunity for people to say Thank God when I enter a room (tgif). I am a Friday th 13th baby- thats how I came up with friday.
My dh is (again) sitting behind me and is telling me that he is named after Captain Nelson from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea- a cartoon his older brother loved. And he goes on to say that his middle name has no creativity or thought- Patricio- because he was born on St Patricks Day. And I thought I was goofy about my name!! He is starting to rant and rave!!

Christ Follower said:Luckily he only got a small little cut on his toe.
Christ Follower said:It was really fun trying to clean up paper thin chards of glass on wet carpet. You should all try it sometime. Sorry for the vent!
JaimeQ said:Wow, glad to hear that is all that he got.
Christ Follower said:Ya, especially since he was holding the broken glass. He was crying really hard when I got in there so I thought he was really hurt. Turns out, he was upset b/c he still wanted to play with the globe.
JaimeQ said:At least you child isn't trying to eat the paint off the window sill.
Nice.. just one more thing to add to your eventful evening.Christ Follower said:msn has encountered a problem and needs to close down!
JaimeQ said:And not to mention the paint that is sooooo old and soooo layered that somewhere amongst the layers is lead....
Christ Follower said:I take it that you're dealing with this issue now?
JaimeQ said:Nice.. just one more thing to add to your eventful evening.
JaimeQ said:Yep.. I found today that my DD has been biting into the window sill when she climbs on to the back of the couch...
Christ Follower said:Yep. There's a big window in front of me on my pc and if I click on it the whole thing will shut down! So I'm trying to scroll up so I can see what I'm typing!
JaimeQ said:and these old houses have layers upon layers of paint.. and the lower layers have lead paint...
Christ Follower said:OH nooooooo! That's bad! How long do you think she's been doing that?
Christ Follower said:So pair that with the toy thing and we're all in trouble!
friday said:Jaime, how old is your DD. I sort of remember my DS12 being into a toddler bed at around 1, but DS10 was in the crib for something silly like 3 years. DS1 is such a wicked climber I am thinking as soon as I get the bedroom painting done I will try to switch him, but I would have to gate the door, and he will be sharing his room with DS10, who is too short to hurdle the gate. Maybe I will have to gate the stairs instead??
JaimeQ said:Oh wait is that the ages?? did I finger it out??
thats great!!!!!!!friday said:Oh ya- someone said not to come back here until I had my 4 shows booked. I did it!! I think what I did counts. I got 3 cooking shows for October (14th, 21st, and 23rd) 1 catalogue show to close on the 12th. Plus another cooking show for November 4th. My Saturday/Sunday goal is to get 5 more into October.
