I have to bring my grandmother to the doctors tomorrow....it's hard but I have no choice

she has alzheimers and it's really hard watching her go down hill

She lives with me and it's difficult because it's like having a third child

i have to be out the door by 8 am to set up for my craft show
then back home again to finish some stuff off
then pick up my helper at school and back to craft show till 9 pm :cry:

The problem too is I put everyone ahead of me and meanwhile my health is not so good because of it and I know I can change that but I know if I don't do this for my grandmother I will regret it

She is 84 and she means the world to me and I do everything for her, she has 5 children and I get minimal help from them

And actually it upsets me and her that she very seldom sees them or even hears from them

The last time the ambulance came to get her she was in the E.R. and didn't recognize her own kids, it was sad

She is better for now but she makes the coment that the only time she sees them is when she goes to the E.R.

and its sad that they dont visit more often
my mother passed away 17yrs ago at the age of 49
before all 4 of her grandchildren were born
there is not a day that goes by that i dont think of her and know how happy my son would make her

How sad is this....she is living off her $800 a month social security and saving her money because she wants to be able to split it up between her children!! She is already making payments on her own funeral and she is paying enough for her funeral that she included the cost of flowers so no one has to buy any because she wants a lot at her funeral!!! As if I could not imagine paying for my funeral, writing that check out every month, knowing thats what its for! How depressing is that????

My DH is working 2 jobs and I have PC to try and make a little extra to help out so we can live the life we want but this time every year things get a little tight.....funny how that works, just before Christmas!
