A few actually turned out really neat! We made Strawberry Amaretto Pastries.

Here's one of me:

And some of the food:

Now I know I can't post them on my blog, but what else can I do with these? They are just so pretty, I want to use them! Not the one of me--that's jut for you guys, LOL! Maybe in a poster or flyer? What do you think? :)

Your pastries are so much prettier than mine!

Those are great! Create a flyer to give to prospective hosts - or to hosts who have already booked. Seeing the recipe will get them excited.

They do look great! I just blop mine on a pastry. LOL

Those look wonderful. What about a recipe card with the Strawberry Amaretto Pastries recipe. Just a thought!

YUMMY! Your pics look very professional.

They look very professional... and you have officially made me hungry!!!!!

What wonderful photos! Yes, use them in a flyer or on invitations!

May I copy a couple of these to use on invitations?

Sure! DH is so proud of himself for taking these. :)

Excellent photography!Better pastry skills!(I'm jealous of both, to be honest! ;))

Love the photos, and love the pastries! Both of them look so professional. I have used the Easy Accent Decorator for the filling, but it is not stiff enough, so it doesn't look that outstanding. I will have to try the scoop the next time. I think it would be great for a recipe card

Great pics. I also agree with the recipe card idea.

Nice job! Both of you....whatta team!

That is great that your DH took those! (Means he is very interested in backing your business, I would bet!)

BTW- you have Porcelain skin! You look flawless!

Tell DH he did an excellent job with the pics....and you did a beautiful job on your pastries! For some reason, I have always been intimidated by that recipe, even though everyone on here has always said what a great demo recipe it is....

Thank you. *blush*

If you think my skin is porcelain, you should see my youngest daughter! Here is a picture of her a few weeks ago:

The picture looks better in sepia, but in color you can see just how clear and light her skin is. She almost looks translucent! Here's the awesome one:

Yea, but babies are SUPPOSED to glow like that. I am only jealous of the ADULTS who still have such beautiful skin!

I don't know if you do a booking binder yet, but you should put your daughter's picture in there AND the one of your recipe from the show. Both are beautiful!!:D

I've made these for a show. They are delicious, but messy to make. Of course, it never occured to me to assemble them on the cooling rack! And the scoop is a great idea.

I'm gathering photos of recipes we make as I insert them in my invitations. I'll have to keep an eye out for ones you post!

They kids are adorable :D Dh must be an aspiring photographer, eh?

Actually I'm the aspiring photographer--he was so proud because he figured out how to work my camera and got some good shots! LOL! I took the other two. The whole reason he got the super close-ups is because I had my telephoto lens on from being outside, and he didn't know how to change them. It all worked out though!

Unfortunately, we don't have any of the finished product. :( The one he took was blurry and the pastry was smushed. Definitely not impressive! This has inspired me to start taking more pictures of my recipes though! I will post the next time I do. :)

As for the scoop and the cooling rack, I cool the pastries all on the rack anyway, so when I cut them in half, I put the bottom back on the rack and the top on the cutting board. I don't have much for Simple Additions yet, so I don't have anything to display them. The scoop I bought years ago, and I figured I might as well demo as many different products as I can!

I love this recipe because it is so beautiful! And it is really easy, for those of you thinking about trying it. All my guests are astonished at how easy it is and how elegant they turn out. But they are REALLY messy to eat. Take one bite and the filling goes out the other end!
