What is special: Definition and 200 Discussions

It used to be they had to order the amount nec. without host special and half price items, and after their host discount to get the special. Then it kept popping up that they got one even if they were below the above, when I'd be finalizing the show. Please what's the scoop?

A customer placed an online order for my show next Friday. She was not given the opportunity to order a cook book however an outside order for tomorrow's show was. Anyone have this happen? When I pull the orders into P3, can I add One for the customer who doesn't have one? Thanks.
