Do you use this Mix at any of your shows? Or premake an item and bring it, or display the box, etc?
Just rec'd a box, going to experiment later today :) Veggie pizza, maybe.
Does anyone know why the cinnamon roll tree recipe calls for 2% milk mixed with the icing? Do you think whole milk would work the same? I'm sure it has something to do with the fat in the milk, but I didn't know is whole would have too much fat and skim too little (well none). Any ideas as I am...
I am doing the Cinnamon Roll Christmas tree, shown in our Oct Consultant News..
Is there an official recipe for the icing ..and which type of dough do you all use?
Anyone does this yet? Were people impressed with the idea? I did do a search for this..but came up with nothing, but here...
anyone have this recipe? My host made it as an 'extra' at her show the other night. Said she got it from an older season's best when she attended a show many moons ago. Except she made it into a ball instead of a roll. I believe it has ham, cream cheese, cheese, pecans or walnuts and I'm not...
Ok, I've tried this at my past 3 shows and had pretty good success. This is an idea from NED Pasty McGovern.
Take a big rubber dice (really just 1) or a fuzzy one and have each guest roll it at some point during the show. I have them write the number down on the order form corner and say I'll...
...the one that comes on the sweet cinn. sprinkles bottle? (i just have the sample size). If it is a short and sweet recipe, I am going to put it at the bottom of some thank you postcards I am having printed. Thanks for your help!

I am helping my friend plan her son's wedding and I need the recipe for Chicken Satay Spring Rolls. It should be in the 2005 fall/winter s/b cookbook. I think it's the one that has the crab cakes on the front. It has a picture of them (the spring rolls) on the back. I need to get my...
Ok, so i'm on a roll tonight... or else i'm just really bored. I already made the Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake, I'm in the middle of making the Strawberry Amaretto Pastries and then i'm going to make the Warm Nutty Caramel Brownies... am I insane? Did I mention I have a show next week and don't...

Hey Everyone,
I bought all the stuff to make the Luscious Lemon Angel Roll that's on page 76/77 of the Delightful Desserts cookbook. My question is that the recipe says the use the Stoneware Bar Pan, but it doesn't say if you should use the large pan or the medium pan. I have both, but which...
I have a host asking for an old PC recipe that used Crescent roll dough, roast beef and cheese and then she said they used to roll it up, slice it into pinwheels and bake them. She said they are distinctly an appetizer recipe from her previous PC shows. I asked her if they made it into the...
I know this has been discussed many times, but I wanted to share a great website I found on the net for anyone considering doing this type of show. Here you can find the rules and document examples all for free.

Also, I made flyers for my Bunco shows...
My step-daughter (also on my team) was at a jewelry show the other night, and the consultant passed around a pair of dice, and everybody rolled the dice. Whatever they rolled (2,4, 6 etc) is the price they would pay for the hostess special when they held their show. I think this is a great...
So, we are doing this Bunco party tomorrow......Since it's a Bunco party, I thought we should do snack type food. The Tangy Bacon Roll Ups look good, but I'm not a fan of Water Chestnuts, and I'm not sure anyone else will be either.
Any suggestions for substitutions??
I'm curious about how my look will affect my new business. My dh likes to kid me that I'm "a little bit rock n roll". I have tattoos (easily hidden, but sometimes I don't) and I have streaks of blue in my red hair. My "business casual" would not look the same as your average conservative...
I am planning on doing this recipe at a brunch show next month. I just wanted to ask you guys who have done this recipe before show tips. Is there anything that NEEDED to be prepped ahead of time or a trick about rolling the roll? Thanks guys!
Hi everyone. My name is Jason and I am a "new addition" to the family. I am really looking forward to getting my business up and running. I love to cook and I love the products. I can't wait for my kit to get here so I can start using everything.

Just had to tell someone!! Am having a decent week!!! I finally earned one of the Super Starter Bonus Packs (kitchen essentials) in my final month! Decided to get off my duff and make some calls and got 3 catalog shows for this month and one possible opportunity for a vendor bizarre! Hope...
 Help! My first show is 4 days away. I am making the Garden Ranch Pizza and I have practiced it twice. My problem is getting the dough to roll out to the edges of the stone. It just acts like a big ball of gum and retracts back to its original log shape unless I get all muscular...
From my experience i have found...
Pillsbury is better than generic. I once had a host get 1 generic and I Pillsbury Cresent Roll Dough. I made a braid 1/2 and 1/2. The Pillsbury became twice as large during the baking time. Taste though was pretty similar. But texture was lighter with...
