I cannot get the Cookie Press to work for the life of me  (besides the Peanut Butter cookie recipe in one of the PC cookbooks and the fudge recipe). Anyone have any great tips and/or fool proof recipes?
I'm planning to use my PC Cookie Press for the first timethis afternoon. I believe I remember that the recipe that comes with it is the best one - right?
Also - do I put the sprinkles on them before I bake them? do I need to brish them with an egg white first?
I have a customer interested in the Cookie Press. She is curious if she could use the (Pillsbury) cookie "tube" dough you can buy at the grovery store. I said I had never tried that and wasn't sure -- but that someone on here could answer my question. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever tried this? The recipe I have seems to be a little "hard" and I do not know if the cookie press can handle it. Has anyone done this and had to modify a recipe to work in the cookie press?
Hi,
I'm experimenting with my cookie press and can't seem to get the dough to stick to the parchment paper or a stone. It will stick to a cookie sheet but that's it. I've tried two different recipes. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
I am really not happy about the cakemix:blushing: recipes so far. The one with devil's food, 2 3/4 cups flour and 4 sticks of butter was a dud..... cookies are unimpressive and crumble to pieces. Haven't tried the recipe provided with the cookie press yet.. so I thought I would put this out...
Cookie Press... love it, or hate it?
I just got mine. I havent used it yet. I love all the discs. My old one didnt have some of the new holiday designs, like the pumpkins and others, so I am excited that there is more designs to use throught the year!

Use the Garlic Press to make hair for your gingerbread girls and boys. Just press a bit of dough through and arrange appropriately. It's adorable.BTW, I don't get credit for this idea, just sharing it. I saw it done in a recent magazine.
I just read Heloise in today's paper and someone wrote in that she uses her garlic press to crush her dog's pills as the dog won't take the pills mixed with food etc and using the garlic press the dog doesn't really know that the pill is in the food dish with its food. Heloise wrote back...

Use the Citrus Press to squeeze liquid from tea bags when making a cup of tea or a large amount of iced tea. The Citrus Press can hold 3 to 4 tea bags at a time.
I have always heard NOT to squeeze tea bags, as you are...
The garlic press I received in my consultant kit is chipping, the protective coating they coat it with is whats chipping on it. How do I go about getting it replaced? My first show is on 9/29 can HO get it to me by then do you think? I've never placed and order or had to return anything yet to...
I had a host rave about this item and told me I should get it to use and offer mother/daughter cookie classes. Anyone have this item? How do you like it?
Anyone done cookie callses like that before? If so, what all did you do? Thanks!
God bless,
Amanda
Do any of you all use the grill press? I ordered the grill pan but didn't get the press (yet).
How do you use it?
Do you like it?
Thanks for all the info~

Hi, I'm a new consultant (just joined in May), and I've searched these forums but cannot find what I'm looking for. (If I just missed it... I'm sorry!)A while back, a friend (former consultant) verbally gave me an easy cookie recipe for the Cookie Press that called for cake mix, but I've since...
The pin on my citrus press just popped out this week. I need to get it replaced. I've searched through receipts, supply orders, etc. I think I got it in a sample package. Does anyone remember what year it came out and when?
FYI: The Pampered Chef's pink products were listed in a little blurb in yesterday's food section of the Detroit Free Press! http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008804300405
I've already received 2 HO leads this morning because of it! (Woo-hoo for me!)
THIS IS A GREAT...
I'm probably going to get the grill pan but wondered if any of you use the grill press? Is it a must have or a wait and get later kind of thing? Thanks!
God bless,
Amanda
P.S. Sorry so many questions about which things to get but I know you all have more experience with shows and what you...
What would make a Garlic Press snap in half at the skinny part of the handle?
Would NOT removing the skin between cloves and pressing REALLY hard cause it to break? I have NEVER seen a broken one.
I've had this problem since I've had it:
Ya know the thing that's supposed to remove the skins from the press? Well, mine won't stay on the press when I'm storing it! Only way it comes close to staying on is if I'm not storing it with the hopper in the right place. I've come close to losing...
In the March CN, it mentioned there would be a customizable press release available on consultant's corner after April 1. I am unable to find this - can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,

OK, there is so much knowledge here on this site that I wanted to tap into it.
My husband has taken on a new commitment at work where he will be dealing with clients (he is in IT so in the past he has always stayed within the company). And yesterday one of his bosses sort of went off about...
Calling all Cookie Press experts! :chef: Here is a note I received from a prior host:
I bought the cookie press and the first time I used it was as soon as I got it from the delivery guy. It was fun to use, and stopped me from having to roll the cookie batter out. I had fun and it seemed...
Just checking my messages and I have a customer who has a question about the Citrus press. They want to know what the coating is that covers the aluminum on the press. I did some research on the web-site but they just call it coated and don't elaborate. Anyone know what this coating is made of?
I was washing my grill press today and noticed rust spots on it. I didn't think this was suppose to happen. I only hand wash any pieces of my cookware and dry them once I am done. Any ideas on how to stop this and reverse it???
Or do I just need to call HO for a replacement because it is only...
