This question branches from something I posted behind the apron but I thought it might be helpful to discuss here.
I hand out mini catalogs everywhere I go. I often talk to people at the grocery store - mostly the people at the checkout. A lot of times I'll ask if they're familiar with PC...
I know that sounds like a pretty silly question, but what now? I went to a festival on Saturday and got a lot of drawing slips. My question is, do you follow up with all of them, or just the ones that checked a box? There are quite a few of them with an e-mail address listed, should I add them...
Does anyone have a flyer/letter/e-mail text that you use when you are following up with a new lead? It's happened to me a couple times when I'm out and about that someone asks about a catalog or interest in ordering. They give me their e-mail address and I tell them I'll send them some...

I just saw on CC, that Home office is testing a new way to generate recruiting leads- through Career Builders. COOL!!!! I am most excited about becoming a director for the Home Office Leads!!!!
On Consultant's Corner it says:
Career Builder
The Home Office is testing a new way to generate recruiting leads.
When I click the link nothing happens... I get a page that isn't loaded yet. I'm finding this kind of interesting....
Anyone have any inside info?
I had my first cooking show since April last night and it went pretty well. There were 7 guest's total and sales are at $220.00 (more order's coming in and we are closing Sunday.)
However the best part was I booked two show's and have 4 recuit leads. One is the host and the other three are...
Now I need suggestions on how to proceed. Some of the people filled out the slip (to win a gift certificate) but said they did not want to be contacted. Should I really not contact them or should I do something non-threatening like a mini-catlog with a letter in the mail? I have some phone...
Notice: This is NOT a complaint about the lead system.;)
I need help in my approach in contacting HO recruit leads. The majority do NOT have phone numbers. Of course I send an email but we all know how that goes......
Would any of you be willing to share your wording/text that has been...
I just wanted to share with everyone a quick story.
About a month or so ago, I was getting request for catalog's left and right from people seeing my decals on the back window's of my car. So the first couple of people I gave the catalog's out to, I didn't get any contact information.:(...
Jennifer (iteachurkid) and I live near each other and have been discussing the option of going to a local mall and doing what is called "shopping for leads". Has anyone here ever done this? Does anyone have any ideas for us? Her Director did this with some of her team and we are going to get...
1) How often do you stay in touch with folks interested in the PC business, but now is not a good time?
2) And, what do you say when you touch base with them again?
Thursday night I had insomnia. It was 4 AM and I still hadn't fallen asleep. I did what is insane for me. I got up and went to the gym instead of my late morning time. I worked out for an hour, came home and slept for a few hours.
Back to it again tonight (well, day since it's 2:53 AM)...
I had a GREAT street fair on saturaday $300 in onsite sales, 2 on the spot bookings (1 catty 1 Cooking Show)!!! and lots and lots of leads!!! so here is my question how in the world do you sort thru all of these!!! i started to call everyone yesterday and will make the rest of the calls...
Just a short note...I have an recruit lead that is waiting for her stimulus check to sign up as a consultant! This is something I am trying to weave into my recruiting as a way to help with those leads who can't afford the kit. I plan on suggesting that this would be a wonderful way of investing...
So on my way to a show last night, I stopped at the gas station to grab a Rock Star. My daughter had already fitted me with my nametag for the party that simply said "Jackie (Chef)". There were two college-age guys there and they asked about my nametag. Both of them were interested. One of...
I got a HO lead with no phone number while I was away last week. She gave her address and her email, but no phone number.
For kicks, I looked her up online and found her phone number.
Do I call her? I personally would be freaked if that happened, but I also would have given my phone number!
I just got off the phone with my Doctor...
It turns out that I have re-injured my knee. I have torn the ACL this time. That means surgery - AGAIN!!
Off of work for 12 weeks - nice vacation;)
My director gave me a list of leads to follow up on from a Bridal Book she subscribes to. Some of the leads are up to a year old. So far I've come across one who is no longer engaged, and another who left her husband after 3 months and is getting divorced. What do you say after something like...
How do you keep in touch (besides your monthly newsletters) with your recruit leads and fence sitters, especially those that have said something like "not right now"? How often do you contact them, and what do you say to them, etc? Do you send them each and every recruiting flyer (such as the...
So my team held a booth at the homeshow over the weekend and we got a phenomenal amount of promising leads. However, most of the time when I follow up and remind them that they check so-and-so box, they say "no" or "I didn't mean to do that". So I'm wondering if anyone out there can give me some...

I am stuck! I have leads from a bridal fair and now am at a total loss as what to say. When I "wing it" they act like they really don't want to be bothered.
Does anyone have a script that they use to follow up with bridal leads and bride's families?
Sincerely,
