I had my first Holiday Fair and it was a huge success! I received enough orders for a show, handed out about 75 catalogs, received about 10 leads for bookings.
Thanks!

What kind of special things do you do before Christmas? I'm doing a Holiday Dash for Cash and giving a cash prize for my largest catalog show. I have 7 booked so far and am hoping for at least 2 more.
I was thinking about taking tuxedo brownie bites (topped with candy cane pieces) to some...
So when I log into the personal website, I see the Holiday 2011 evite that I can send to the guests of my parties. But if I send it, then it shows my name as the person the email is from and people won't open it. If I log in as my host, it doens't give her the option of the holiday evite? Is...
I had my first holiday boutique booth today. It seemed to go very well as far as leads which is what I was hoping for. It was also well worth the experience! People questions etc. I feel like I could have been more of a hard-sell or a closer... But it was in a retirement home so I felt like I...

Hi Everyone!
I just received me acceptance into a Holiday Event in December. I have been reading about different ideas for events like this and some people do drawings and some don't. I was thinking about doing a drawing for a Free Cooking Show.
Any thoughts? Has anyone tried this...
I have at least one, hopefully two booths and a real estate agency's customer appreciation event coming up all in Nov. I really would like to offer gift sets, pre-priced. Bear with me while I try to explain my idea...
What I want to offer is a small assortment of gift set ideas in a range...
Does anyone have a flyer put together of the newly pictured gift sets or gift giving ideas? I've seen some people posting one on FB, but I think Sheila said it wasn't good enough quality for printing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
I have several acquaintances in direct sales for other companies who have suggested that we have an open house together. I'm all for it, and have a couple others already booked this holiday season, but the problem with this one is that we have no where to have it. Our churches won't allow it...
Ok I am a little nervous. . .I just booked my first Holiday Vendor fair with my Daughters school PTA. I have NEVER done anything like this. . . I looked over the other threads and there is a lot. So those who have done them what should I make sure I have and do?
I love the catalog in the...
Here's a "photo" that you can use on your FB page to encourage people to be creative and make their own holiday packages.
Do me a favor though, if you are going to use it, please "like" the one I posted on my business page so that it will move up the news feed for my customers! LOL...
This is really cool! But I wish it was on each of our PWS's! I wonder what I can say in the status update to let people know not to order or anything on that site, but instead hop over to mine.

I have a show in November that I am marketing as "Get Ready For Christmas". So far, my ideas are to make a Christmas centerpiece with the Trifle Bowl with either candies or tree bulbs and making Cookie Press cookies. Plus, we are using the Holiday Dots Bowl to serve cream cheese/savory sauce...
I am doing a Holiday Bazaar the first weekend in November. It is a huge event on Fort Knox with around 3000 in attendence. My plan so far is to offer free shipping to me, free gift wrap on $60 or more purchases, and 50% off direct shipping. I am just going to make the weekend a party and then...
We have this wonderful resource for the Holiday 2011 with tips and recipes and gift ideas, but what I don't see if the ability to set up a show on the website and have the "theme" be a holiday show like we have in the past. Anyone know if we will have that choice later on, or not now since...
I am doing a booth at a holiday marketplace at my daughter's private school. I must have cash and carry items because the school gets a percentage of the sales for the evening. I want to do it because it will let my presence as a PC consultant be known to the parents. I'm trying to put...

Lacey things, the wife is missin'.
Didn't ask, for her permission
I'm wearing her clothes,
her silk panty hose.
Walking around in women's underwear.
In the store, there's a teddy.
With little straps, like spagetti.
It holds me so tight,

It's that time of year for lots of holiday parties and gatherings - opportunities to meet new people. On a Tammy Stanley training call last night, she suggested instead of saying to someone "what do you do?" to ask "what do you do for fun?" It should be a more engaging way to start a...
