I'm going to be testing the microwave fluted pan method for the very first time today with the Lemon Cakes. Anyone have any tips for a first-timer???
Also - someone mentioned in the other Lemon Cake post that they used lemon cake mix instead of yellow. Anyone else do this? How is it?
I came across this recipe the other day, and I think it would work well for the mini-fluted pan - it says it makes 6 servings in "individual baking molds" or in 7oz ramekins. I also read a review that says it can be done in a 10-cup bundt -type pan. Does anyone know if our fluted pan is 10 or 12...
I'm trying to find the recipe that uses buttermilk biscuit in the fluted stone. Its like monkey bread/ cinnamon rolls. I have made it before but i lost my recipe. Thank you in advance if you can help that would be great.
I had a call this morning from a customer. She ordered a Large Bar Pan and the Fluted Pan. She said she loved the bar pan, but she has made 2 cakes, and they are both sticking...really bad. She said she has tried greasing, etc., and she wants me to tell her what she is doing wrong.

I am doing the 10-12 minute cake recipe tonight for a show using the fluted stone, chocolate frosting, and a chocolate cake mix. However, I'm looking over some of the other recipes on here and a few call for pudding in the cake also. What is the difference in taste, consistency, etc.? Does...
The other day I was using my fluted pan and noticed a small crack at the rim. It was such a small hairline crack that I wasn't sure if it was a crack at all... and then when I was cleaning it I noticed three more. The pan is less than a year old, and I rarely use it.
What could cause...

What is the best way to clean thes mini fluted stone. I baked mini choc bunt cakes. They were wonderful, but cleaning it has not been fun. I am soaking it and have had to rub it with my fingers to clean the grooves. Is there an easier way. Thank you.

So I have plans to make a turtle cake using the stoneware fluted pan in the micro. Some recipes suggest leaving the cake in teh pan to cool for a few minutes, others make no mention of letting it cool.
What is truly recommended? How long should I allow the cake to sit in the pan before I...
Does anyone have easy recipes to demo the Fluted Stoneware Pan? One that I have heard about has 1 box cake mix, 3 eggs and 1 can of pie filling. Mix and match as you choose. I don't know if that recipe is missing any ingredients and instructions. I also, would love to have other recipes for...

I have a host who wants to do a chocolate recipe in the fluted pan in the microwave, similar to the warm chocolate hazelnut cake, but different since I've already done that one twice with roughly the same crowd. Any suggestions? I looked on CC and found a few in cookbooks that I don't have...

Looking for a New In Box Mini Fluted Pan. Have a customer that wants one. Don't know if we can still get them since they were discontinued, but if anyone has one, please let me know!:D
I've made this twice. Both times it is flat when I dump it out. The icing is also very liquid and runs everywhere.
How is it supposed to turn out? I make a regular cake mix following the directions on the box, pour it in the stoneware fluted pan, scoop a can of frosting around the top and...
I was attempting to make the chocolate cake in the fluted cake pan in my microwave. I was about to turn it for the final 3 minutes and it was overflowing. Any advice?!

Ok, I know I got a bunch of recipes for a microwave fluted cake on here, but they all had pie fillings. What is the one with the frosting on top and no pie filling? I'm sure I could search for it, but I'm sure that those of you online now can get me an answer before I can find it!:p
I have a customer that cooked her holiday fruitcakes in a metal pan in a pressure cooker last year. She asked if the stoneware could be put in a pressure cooker. I told her that I didn't know, but I would try and get that information for her. Does anyone have any insight or information on this?
