My mom is looking for an easy dessert that she can make ahead and put in the fridge. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking maybe something in the trifle bowl, but wasn't sure what could be made ahead. Also - the simpler the better.
TIA!
J.
So this is the first holiday season hat I've been with PC but I got the new Festive Holiday Desserts cookbook today in my SAT package and it looks sooooo fun! I already know we'll be making some like the brownie lollipops and the toffee crisps for edible gifts.
Could anyone recommend a dessert skillet recipe for a breakfast show I'm doing in two weeks? We'll have the Ham & Cheese Brunch Squares, but I also wanted to do something in cookware to promote bookings for September. Any ideas? I know there are a lot of chocolate recipes for cakes, but I was...
I was playing the kitchen the other night and came up with this :chef: I just had to share, this is the yummiest thing ever to me!
I have been taking frozen fruit (I use mango and pineapple but you could probably use anything, berries would be yummy!) and coarsely chop it up with the food...
I am doing a show tomorrow and making a quick dessert to show how our pans go from stovetop to oven - Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I do it all the time and the hosts/guests love it. My host tomorrow is having a show so she can get the SS set for half price. Is there a quick dessert stovetop...
Any ideas, other than the warm caramel nutty brownies and summer berry shortcakes? Not the truffle cups either. And I've done the amaretto pastries to death...
I'd love to do a trifle, but I don't have enough PC bowls, and I don't have an EAD for pretty toppings (would love to do the berries...
Since most of my threads this week have been fairly, well let's face it- they are sad and depressing....
I thought I'd start a potentially funny one! If you were a dessert what would you be and why?
DH and I went out to dinner tonight because I had to buy a new outfit for my interview...
Have you made this before? Can it be made using the Large Bar Pan? (and maybe the small bar pan for the stars) Do you think there would be enough time to bake the pastry at an interactive show? or would you suggest making that ahead of time at home?
I have a show on Saturday, Stars and...
I am having 12 women over Thur. for Pampered Chef Bunco ( which will ultimately become a show!)
I am serving a main entree, and a dessert...and trying to spend as minimally as possible, yet be great recipes..
ANY IDEAS on what I could prepare that could easily feed 12?
Has anyone done the chicken clubhouse squares or the pina colada upside down cake ahead of time the day before the show? I have a show tomorrow at 3. We don't get out of church until 11:30 and I have to be gone by 1:30 at the latest because it is an hour away. I want it to still taste good...
I need some ideas. We are having a family BBQ and I have been designated to make the dessert. I want to make one that is kid friendly while also "impressing" the adults. I also want it to be something that can be eaten with fingers instead of forks and plates. Any ideas?
Oh, and I have...
I need a quick dessert recipe that doesn't require alot of prep! I was asked to bring something sweet to a meeting tonight and forgot all about it. I do not have a lot of time to prepare something but want something that is good. THANKS!
I am doing the pork show this weekend... for some healthy eating folks. I did a pork in the microwave show last weekend and everyone loved it! But there was some down time while waiting for it to cook and rest. So i thought I would whip together a dessert in front of them. The host is a good...
My daughter is getting married in June and decided she wants to have a dessert bar instead of a wedding cake. She said she loves dessert way too much to limit herself to just one! She so takes after her mom!!!
Being the crazy control freak that I am I want to make the desserts myself, or at...
Hey, I just got on last night and I love this sight! I have been involved with PC since Nov. 10th. So pretty new! Just finished my 90days. Did my first 1500$ month ( 5 shows!) Have just loved it!! Found my nitch for sure and will probably do this forever! I have made more in sales than with...
Quick question about making this dessert. The recipe says to cool completely which may take longer than I really want to wait during a demo. Is it advisable to premake the cookie base and then do the rest at the party? Will it hold up until then? I'm making this tonight and figure on doing the...
My first party has 16 confirmed and 3 maybes...(she seems confident that the maybes will be yes') She has been a great host so far.
I am making Ham and Cheese Brunch Squares. Which feeds 12. When I did the test batch, I cut more than 12 squares and personally thought they were pretty big...
I have a host that has requested a two dessert, be quick. The guests have been to PC shows before. Estimate of 10 guests.
I was thinking of Death by Chocolate Trifle and Cheesecake. Show the two desserts and finish (food chopper to chop candy bar for trifle, and can opener to open a can...
My host next week wants a dessert (Valentine's) but there is a chance her oven won't be fixed by then. She has the stove available and the microwave. She's planning to have 12 people there so individual cakes won't work.
PLUS we're doing an interactive show so I need something that uses a...
I think my brain is fried. I've been looking for a dessert recipe for my show on Saturday and nothing is inspiring me! I am making the pepper pecan brie. One of the guest is allergic to nuts- so that's out.
Soooo... any ideas?
Thanks!
I am looking for a dessert to pair up with a dinner demo. I would like to give my hosts a choice of Asian Noodle Skillet or Enchilada Casserole, but I would like to have a dessert too - I would just like it done before I start the dinner.
Since those 2 dinners don't really have a "bake" time...
Anyone have a dessert recipe for the DDCB?? One that you've made and loved??
I love promoting the DDCB especially with the stoneware sale!! Some of my hosts have seen the chicken already so I need some new ideas.
TIA!:balloon:
Hi! I am having people over tonight for the football game. I am looking for a quick dessert recipe. I have basic boxed cakes in the pantry. What should I do. I am thinking the skillet cake will be too much food. Any other ideas? Not too many steps since I have to still tiddy up, make my...
Hi! I have a host that would like to have the warm caramel brownies without the nuts...any thoughts on this? I think the nuts make the brownies but I understand her allergy concern. Can the nuts be added after someone with allergies has taken their brownie? Also, I'm a new consultant so all...
I've got to take a dessert to my husband's Christmas party for work. I'm looking for suggestions on something that will taste great, look great, the whole shebang, since there's the potential for a couple of bookings. What do you suggest?
