Hey guys I have a CnB coming up on the 2nd with my fledgling team. I've never conducted one before. Any tips? Suggestions on making it flow well? I plan on showing the trip video during the video segment. My current team members have all done parties. Some have issues with prep beforehand...

Doctors in Arizona thought a Phoenix-area woman had a possible brain...
So I held my first ever cook and book today! Yay!! The only thing I was afraid was that I had never held one and I only had one RSVP! But that was okay for me because I she's my FD and I'll spend all day answering and training for her. :)
Well she called me at 12:30 to let me know that...
I really like the format and think it could be a really good thing to do regularly. Although I cut out the video portion and changed it to the Full Service Checkout and how to handle the NO.I had just one consultant show up. One hospitality gal who had RSVP'd was a no show. If I had known she...
I have a Sept Host who has a glass cook top. She wants to know if our cookware is safe? I'm 99% sure it is but she couldn't find any info in the catalog to say so.
So last night I had a party for "well-to-do" group. The host did not really want to get right into the recipe because many did not eat dinner and she wanted to let them have time to nibble on apps first. So, While they did that I talked about bamboo, and the summer things (green products). I...
I am doing an outdoor show...host does not have a grill, but hopes to have one by the time the show starts but I really can't count on that???
Any ideas? I was thinking a Trifle, but I was hoping for something a little more rustic since it is an outdoor theme.
Someone sent this to me and I wanted to share it with everyone on here. Check it out, it has a ton of recipes.
Can anyone be so dear to convert it to word and post it so that I can condense it to not be 400 pages?
(for the guests AND her family-SIGH...) We were discussing the recipe to make and decided on the enchilada casserole with the triple citrus mojitos as a Mexican Fiesta theme. She felt this would absolutely not be enough (and she is a very good friend of mine) so I told her we could double the...
I am SO excited that David Cook just won American Idol. :sing: :sing: :sing: :D :D :D I just was talking to people today that I thought that the show this year was rigged and I was so irritated about it. I mean Archelleta(spelling) is good and all, but...David Cook ROCKS!!!!
Way to Go DAVID...
I need some ideas about why it is a good idea to cook at home...
Some examples would be:
Costs less, healthier, uses creativity
Anyone think of any other reasons why cooking at home is beneficial?

Wow...I participated in a ladies event this evening and I had a blast. This is the first time that I offered a 'free cooking show' as a draw and people loved it. I told them that I would supply the ingredients and they just loved it. I just can't believe how excited they were. I know this is not...
I have several women how would love PC to come out with cookbooks designed for the Trifle Bowl (yes, I know John is selling one... not interested, but thank you) and for the Deep Covered Baker. I sell/sold alot of the Stoneware Sensation cookbooks for that reason. I reall think these is a good...
This year, my Pampered Chef cluster is participating in Relay for Life. There are going to be about 6 consultants on our team, plus family and friends.
We thought a Mega Show would be a great way to raise money.
Other than getting a venue, raffling off baskets of PC and non-PC products...
Has anyone had experience with baking casseroles in the DCB? I have a customer asking about cook times (she had to add a lot of time before the chicken in her casserole was done). Is this common? Does it get better as it gets seasoned?
TIA! :)
I have been getting that comment alot whenever I approach people about Pampered Chef. It makes getting bookings pretty difficult. So I was thinking about it and came up with this flyer as a response to "I don't cook". I haven't used it yet but will be printing out a bunch to have at my Open...
I think this is the 4th response I have gotten in the past couple months when they see my window decal, they ask what I cook or if I am a chef (if they don't know what TPC is!)
Do you all get this alot too?? Kind of makes me wish I were so I could offer that service to those interested!;)
I got this recipe from Doreen on here...And i'm unsure...do any of you know..when she mentions PAN..does she mean to cook it in a stone, or actually put the saute pan in the oven?
GARLIC BREAD
1/4 stick butter melted IF I MADE A SWEET DEMO
Pantry Italian Seasoning
1 clove garlic...
If anyone went to this workshop could you please post or email me your notes????? I wanted to go to it but got into my other hot workshops!! Thanks in advance!
I have 2 round bottom roast pieces of meat to cook (One for my friend, one for me). I love the PC recipes I have tried so far (the BBQ brisket from Stoneware cookbook is yummy & my kids love it). I've done corned beef in the deep dish baker with great results (you can buy the less fattier/flat...
Fantastic article and though it doesn't use the PC brand name - this just might help in boosting sales! My ED sent this to me, it's from the WW site.

I just have to share my excitement with you all as this was like meeting a celebrity for me. :) I know -- I'm a Pampered Chef Geek. God made me this way -- you have to just deal with it :)
I was so very fortunate today to attend a cook and book training with Chris Manion here in Pittsburgh...
I am doing a 30 minute meal show next month and I was actually wondering if any of you had any other ideas.
I am going to make tea in the microwave, then transfer to the QSP and add ice.
Then make the 30 min chicken in the CDB. While that is cooking make the salad for the Collosol Chicken...
Does anybody have a "Don't Cook Flyer for Men" that includes the Barbeque tgols and other things that might appeal to men? I thought it might help one of my April hosts get more sales if she had something to give to the men in the office.

So I've got a few single friends that either can't or won't cook, and I've had a few guests recently that say the same thing (so why are they at a Pampered Chef show? hmm...)
If anyone has a flyer or a list of items they would suggest to the eat out, leftovers, microwave crowd, please post them!
