Anyone have a great idea for a teacher gift from her class? I'm room mom for my son's first grade class and I'd love to have a group project that the kids can either help make or embellish for their teacher. Something that she can use or put in her room. Any ideas?
My parenting class is starting on Friday, and I'm signed up to provide the snack and beverage for that day. Any suggestions? (I'm guessing it has to be cold, since it'll be sitting out for a good while...) I will serve the beverage in the Q-W Pitcher, but have NO idea what to serve- food or bev!

Is it better to have a pre-paid Kids Cooking Class, where they can take home products, or do you get more attendance when you just offer a hands-on Cooking Show?

I am new to all of this!!
I just needed to know how much you would charge for a Kids Cooking Class.
I want to offer a 1 hour class per week for 4 weeks. It would be 15-20 students ages 4-6 and 7-10. The class would include one "main dish" (ex. PB&J cut into fun shapes) and one "dessert" (ex...
Has anyone done a kids cooking class? I'm thinking about trying to set up a cooking class somewhere maybe contacting a rec center or someplace for kids ages 4-8 to do a kids cooking class on a Sat. My idea was to have a parent come with the child and have them purchase a kit (not sure yet what...
My 5 yo has a birthday coming up at the end of the month. Any suggestions as to what to bring in to her class to celebrate? We have snack at school, ballet and girl scouts. I'd love to just one thing to serve at all 3 - I like the S'More Brownie Bites, but was wondering if anyone had a...
My friend just started taking a hula hooping class at her college. They use oversized hoops, not the type that you would find at your local stores.

Any other hoopers out...
Ok, posted this in the quick thingy, but I think I'll have better luck getting responses this way! I'm one of those "forever futures" (maybe one of these years that will change) but I'm trying to decide if I should take the "Leading New Consultants to Success" class or not. Thoughts???
I have the opportunity to possible teach a monthly cooking class, but have not idea what to do.
Here is the tentative outline as we are still planning. Each participant would pay $X for ingredients and we would prepare a meal, etc. I am still deciding who to gear the class towards.

I am going to be in Atlanta for about a week. DH has a business class and I'm tagging along. I'd like some suggestions for what I can do during the day while he's in class. The hotel is north of 285 near Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. Anyone near there? Want to do lunch?
Is anybody else teaching a "Stoneware Class"/Mystery Host in the beginning of January to earn the Tablecloth?
What kind of information can I teach them....besides different recipes, etc.?

I had an idea last night to offer a "mommy and me" bake and take cookie class at my home in the month of Dec to my past hosts and customers...basically, I'm thinking of just telling them to come to my home for an afternoon, bring the kids, I'd have the baking tools here, and they can do a dozen...

Someone yesterday was mentioning a relaxation bag that was talked about in one of the cooking classes at NC. This sparked my interest and was wondering if anyone knew what this was and how it was used in a show???
Hi all - I am a teacher who is giving her class mothers, principal, aide, and secretaries a trivet for the end of the year. I wrote a catchy little poem to go along with it. It could be used for anyone, even a teacher so I thought I would share. Enjoy!

I've been thinking of offering some summer cooking classes for kids in hopes of boosting my business a little. I need some help with ideas of what people have done in the past. I don't want it to be a show, i'd prefer it to be more of a class. For those of you who've heard of this before...
My sons has to learn how to do something and show what he has learned in class. Of course, he choose to cook something. Any ideas on a Pampered Chef recipe that he can prepare in front of class, that is easy? I was thinking of maybe a skillet cake baked ahead of time and then bringing in the...
I hate talking about Pampered Chef in class while I am in college because you know we are supposed to be there for the subject. Well in my Bio lab recently, I was chatting with my lab partners, and one is going to book and the other is getting married and is going to do a registry with me, and...
