I thought I'd share this link because these apple recipes look sooo good. Fall weather isn't here in West Michigan, yet, but it will be here in a few days. I hope apple prices go down. Enjoy the recipes. Let us know if you try one. I'd like to try the slow cooker recipe for Sunday. It would...
I got these recipes from a site I belong to and thought they looked good. I thought that the apples could be done using PC tools. They take too long to make for shows, but would be great for fall activities!! I even thought that if you were having a HWC cooking show this could be something that...
My family is going apple picking tomorrow at a local orchard. I would love to make apple butter but don't know how. Is there a special type of apple you should use? Any tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated.
How do you remove the taffy apple tartlets from the MMP to the cooling rack without burning your fingers or crushing the tartlets to scratching the non-stick? Am making these at a show tomorrow and this was the only part of the recipe I felt weird about while practicing. I tried the small...
We have a meeting tonight to test the new recipes and I was wondering since we only have 6-8 people who attend, can I make these in the regular size muffin pan (12 of them) or what about making it into a whole pie? My grandma loves pies! How would they come out? TIA!
I try not to vent too much, but this one still has me shaking my head. Last night, I finally met my catalog host who signed last week under the rebate promotion. She was a consultant a couple years ago but stayed active for only a few months.
We started with the 'Come Join Us' booklet so I...
I have a question about this item. I don't have it and a customer asked me so I wanted to check here. She'd like to know if it's posible to just peel and core the apple? Not slice it? Thanks!
God bless,
Amanda
I made them today after having them at my cluster meeting last week. These little guys are yummy! The girl who made them at my cluster meeting said she felt very ungraceful taking them out of the tart pan (hot & got messy) and was concerned about doing this in front of people... my hospitality...
Well...I made these yesterday for our TEAM meeting. They were good...would make a good demo recipe, but I thought they needed more APPLES! You could hardly tell that they were in there! It calls for two granny smiths, and that's what I used. They were each about 8 oz. Next time I will...
I cleaned out the fridge this morning and low and behold is a jar for apple butter. My MIL gave it to us bc they didnt like it. So, I don't like to waste things, so I thought I would make something. I found a recipe for baked beans with the apple butter and I will make that tomorrow. But still...
An upcoming host wants to do the Apple Nut Ring for her show.
The recipe calls for the Deep Dish Baker, but I don't have one. Any suggestions on what item to use as a replacement? I was thinking the large bar pan, but wanted some feedback.
Thanks!
My sons love to take apple wedge to camp/school in there lunches. But if we just slice an apple up in the morning and bag it up, they go bad by the time they get to eat them. Is there any magical way to keep these fresh for a few hours without them getting all brown and yucky looking? I really...
I am making Mom's Apple Crisp for a show on Monday night as the host really wants to earn the A/P/C/S for free!!! But I have one question- I heard that you make it in the DCB but do we put the lid on????
I'm only doing one recipe in the month of July. This is one of my favorites from All The Best. I have 3 shows some weeks and thought this would make things easier for me. It's my family favorite.
Does anone remember this recipe from the mid 90's? I used to make it all the time and i haven't been able to find the recipe. It is soooo good. It's a do ahead one bake it in the morning. I used to bring it into work once in a while - everyone loved it! Can someone help me find it???
What do you all think about this? Can someone tell me how it cores the apples, and also does it hook onto your counter so you don't have to get the stand? Is is really that much faster than doing it by hand?
I have a guest contemplating it, and honestly, I wasn't able to tell her anything...
Does anyone have a recipe for this? I was listening to a Pampered Chef CD, Bookings Galore, and the speaker mentioned this. It sounds interesting to try...
A guest at my show today asked me about the Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer. She said she bought hers 4-5 years ago and after the first time, the prongs broke on the front. She tried calling the consultant at the time but the consultant told her she was getting out of the business and didn't want to...
:) here is a great tip I learned from a call: Take a cucumber cut off ends and cut do then the middle then stand it upright, then take the apple wedger and slice the cucumber just like an apple, so you seed and slice the cucumber at the same time and you end up with even slices!:chef:
Has anyone used their apple wedger to make the deep fried bloomin onions like you get at restaurants? If so do you have a recipe for the batter you used and some brief instructions on cooking them?
Is there a way to sharpen the blades on this? One of my hosts had this when I was doing her show and she mentioned it's not quite as sharp as it used to be. I think she's had it over the warranty period. Anything I could suggest to help her? Thanks!
God bless,
Amanda
I'm trying to decide which company to buy a laptop from, Dell or Apple. Will PP work on either of them? Can you find computer programs to work with Apple as readily as Dell with Microsoft? Does it run the Word program? Yuk...I have no idea. I just want a decent laptop. Does anyone have any...
Hi there!
I had a show tonight and the host was talking about one of her 1st shows where the consultant made a spiced applecake in the mico (with real apples pieces) She no longer has the recipe and I wondered if anyone has ever heard of this and may have the recipe or something similiar I...
So i had someone come up to me at a show last night...said her APCS is just over 3 yrs old, but it seems to not be working properly regarding the actual process of peeling the apple..and it does it half way and then messes up.
Has anyone any experience or info. about this. Obviously since it...
The site is down so I can't look it up... does anyone have the recipe for, or which cookbook would I find it, the recipe for the microwave apple crisp in the deep dish covered baker please?
:)
I bought pork stew meat yesterday because it was in the clearance bin :) and thought I'd just google myself a recipe to use it in. I found a bunch of pork stew recipes that include apple juice and an apple.
Has anyone ever made something like this? Can't imagine how it would taste.
OR...
One of my recruits THOUGHT she ordered 2 of these for customers in October from the consultant corner outlet.
Somehow it looks like the order didn't go through.
Does anyone have 2 of these? Thanks in advance.
