pamperedlinda said:Not sure if this is the right directions since I'm not there to see it. But, do you know where the vending machines are at McCormick? (the ones that are always out of diet coke and water! ) There's a down escalator near them. I have only seen one or two people in that bathroom everytime I've been.
vwpamperedchef said:Well, let me just say that a fellow clustermate was supposedly watching the door while I was in the men's room. I came out to a man using the urinal! I was so mortified. I am sure he wasn't expecting to see a woman come out of the stall. LOL. So yes, gents, be aware! Women get desperate!
KaryCam said:sorry, but I had to laugh.
I can see a certain one of our clustermates doing that last year to you for a laugh.
Shawnna said:Well, since women use the men's room and things can ppen accidentally...man using the urinal while lady is in the stall...it would be nice if the men would use the stalls and not the urinals. I know its a pain for them because we take over most of their bathrooms, but it would sure save embarrassment on both parties if they would use the stalls. While it is a little creepy to be in the bathroom with men, nobody can see you behind the stall door...unless they are peeking, lol.
I feel sorry for the guys at conference. There are a lot of women standing in line to go to the bathroom.

leftymac said:I'm sorry but as a guy, that's just silly. I'll use the urinals in the bathroom marked for men with no problem. If a woman chooses to commandeer it, then she should know she might see a hoohoodilly, and get over it.
It's fine that most of the men's bathrooms are converted, because the population dictates that. The one(s) that is(are) left should be respected. If I as a man went and barged into the restroom designated as ladies, how would people react to that?
GeorgiaPeach said:I agree with Keith on this one. As more men start attending conference, we have to respect their right to privacy. Never heard it called a "hoohoodilly" though :blushing:
leftymac said:Haha...you can thank South Park for that reference.

Last year, a broom closet and an empty water bottle....that's all I'm saying.
The lines for bathrooms tend to be longer for first time guys because they may not be familiar with the layout of the building or the location of the bathrooms. They may also take longer to use the restroom due to lack of experience or uncertainty.
The lines for bathrooms between classes can be long due to the high volume of students trying to use the restrooms during a short period of time. This is a common issue in schools and other crowded environments.
In theory, making all of the mens bathrooms into ladies bathrooms should have improved the situation by increasing the number of available restrooms for women. However, this may not have solved the issue if the number of female students using the restrooms also increased.
This is a common courtesy and safety measure to ensure privacy for those using the bathroom. It also helps maintain a sense of order and prevents overcrowding in the bathroom.
Possible solutions to reducing long lines for bathrooms could include implementing a staggered class schedule to reduce the number of students using the restrooms at once, increasing the number of available bathrooms, or encouraging students to use the restrooms during less busy times such as before or after class. Additionally, educating students on efficient bathroom usage and encouraging them to use the restroom before arriving to class could also help alleviate the issue.
