I want to keep the themed meetings rolling. Last year we did them for a few months but my AD started poo-poo'ing them and that was the end of it.
We did a Beach Blanket Bingo meeting either June or July - can't remember. We had everyone come in tropical shirts & flip flops - cutest flip-flops won a prize. Everyone brought a beach towel and we sat on the floor on our towels.
We played a game using a multicolored inflatable beach ball (dollar store) - the ball was tossed to you - whichever color your right hand was on (typically the balls have red, blue, yellow, green & white) you were asked a challenge based on the color:
(examples)
Red = bookings
White = product knowledge
yellow = recruiting
blue = host coaching
green = personal website usage
I don't recall what the challenges were - maybe we all can brainstorm here?
Another month we did a western theme (the year Leadership was in Texas) and anyone who showed up in cowboy boots or with a western belt buckle, western shirt or cowboy hat was entered into a drawing.
I would love to come up with themes for every months' meeting to make them more fun. I always find that when learning is fun, people learn more and don't even realize they are learning because they are having so much fun...
Let's toss around ideas for themed meetings...
