What's a Hot Smudge Monday? - A toddler's interpretation of a classic treat.

In summary, the host said it was the first time she ever had a party where the cops came to the door. Two guests had parked on opposite sides of the street such that no one could get down the street. So once they moved their cars it was alright. Still funny though.

So I had a cooking show on Sunday. We must have been having a rocking time because the cops came!

The host said it was the first time she ever had a party where the cops came to the door.

But it turns out we have had lots of snow and two guests had parked on opposite sides of the street such that no one could get down the street. So once they moved their cars it was alright.

Still funny though.

LOL!!

A bunch of crazy PC ladies drew the cops in!!

That sure will be a story to tell in the future, you can change the ending as needed!

This story is too funny! :D :D :D :D :blushing:

I had that happen in November! Same situation though, parking problem! Still funny though!

Gee sure would love to come to your PC parties :) Maybe HO should have you do some demo's on video. LOL

Definitely use that as a booking line..."My shows are such a fun party, the cops showed up once!"

Did you send catalogs home with them for their wives?????;)

Oops!! I'm normally a good speller!! Mother was a school teacher for 30+ years, so spelling and geographical directions where always big in our house! Glad she didn't see that! LOL

There ain't no good excuse for bad spelling.

Speaking of cops, I got a ticket coming home from my pc party a few weeks ago.

While I find misspelling terribly annoying, it doesn't bother me as much as misuse of words. The ones that annoy me the most are their/there/they're, where/wear/ware (especially underware and cookwear - those really annoy me for some reason) two/to/too and several others.

Did the show commission cover the cost of the ticket?

An outside order from the cop would have helped.

Hey - at least it wasnt the fire department. I had that happen once when I did PC. Thankfully it wasn't my fault. LOL :D

I'm jumping on the misuse bugging me bandwagon. In fact, there's one use whose posts are usually so bad that I don't bother reading any thread started by her because I can't understand what she's trying to communicate. And it's not just spelling and misuse of words, it's punctuation and capitalization, too. Everyone makes typos, but some people don't seem to know that their computer even has a SHIFT button.

I usually don't mind spelling and misuse too much. It bugs me, but not that badly. But when I get emails and messages from my brother or my cousin (about my brother's age) everything is wrong! Spelling, grammar, punctuation. I mean - I'm not a details person - but there are limits! They are both pretty incomprehensible.

Oh... I just remembered I have text my brother - he is in court today fighting for access to his kids (his ex girlfriend is being peevish - she doesn't have cause)

It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me......

One of my biggest pet peeves though, and we are coming into that season again, is the large number of businesses that put up signs and banners saying:

"Congradulations Graduates"

MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM!!!

Well, too bad for you then. You won't see all the wonderful, loving, mushy things I said about you. Oh well, your loss.

Well, I guess having a two year old has really helped me understand crazy talk!!! When asked this morning what type of pop-tart she wanted she replied Hot Smudge Monday....anyone care to take a guess at what that is????

Hot Fudge Sundae of course! LOL
I just love hearing her take on things!!
