One of the fairs that I'm doing next month is being organized by a good friend of mine so I get first dips on "the good spot"... Problem is, I'm not so sure what the good spot is... Would it be the first one that people hit when they walk in, or somewhere in the middle, or next to the bake sale, or what?! I just can't decide, I've only done one other and it was pretty small, I was right by the door/pay area, and I did pretty good I thought... they also had to pass by me on their way out, but not sure how it'll be set up at this one... Any thoughts and wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

I would say towards the front as they walk in. They will be fresh and more willing to stop to chat. If you were at the end, or around a bunch of food, you may get a lot of traffic but everyone will be hungry or tired! JMO, though. :)

I wouldn't want to be right next to the food (although towards that general direction would be OK), because people will ignore you to get to that booth.

towards the beginning is good. I tend to be there when I organize them, but partially so I see everyone easily. I find with PC, they find me though. I LOVE this company.

Hi there! As a fellow pampered chef consultant, I completely understand your dilemma. The "good spot" at a fair can make a big difference in sales. In my experience, the best spot is usually near the entrance or in a high traffic area. This way, people will see your booth as soon as they walk in and you'll have a better chance of catching their attention. However, it also depends on the layout of the fair and where other vendors are located. If there is a specific area that tends to get more foot traffic, that could also be a good spot for you. Ultimately, it's important to be visible and accessible to potential customers. I hope this helps and good luck at the fair!
