What Are the Best Fun and Romantic Activities to Experience in Atlantis?

Anyone been looking around for fun non-resort activities to do while we're in Atlantis? Hubby and I are looking for fun, romantic, touristy, take-it-all-in type things to do while we're there.

There is tons of great shopping across the bridge on Naussau. There is a straw market too that is great. If shopping isn't for you try some of the restaurants or walk along the docks. There are people sometimes selling shells and whatnot. We bought a huge "fresh" shell and packed it in our suitcases for the flight home. We didn't realize that it hadn't been dried -- so our clothes and suitcases stunk. SO, if you buy a "fresh" shell. pack it seperately to take home or plan on your suitcase smelling. The queen's staircase and the fort (can't remember the name) are fun tours your can take too. The tour guides are full of information. They will ask for a donation though. Even if you pay for a tour, they will tell you that they work for donations only. We usually gave a couple bucks. We signed up for the tours through our cruiseline, but you can probably do a search online or check with consierge at the hotel. Have fun!

My DH and I went to Naussau a few years ago on a Cruise went on a RUM party boat the stoped on an Island for a few hours nothing to but drnk fun tropical drinks and swim on a private beach it was GREAT. maybe yoy can see if the resort has an excursion like that . you would take the boat rigt from the resort.
