Welcome Packets: Ideas to Fill Your Calendar

In summary, creating welcome packets for new neighbors is a great way to increase bookings. Include a personalized letter, information about your services, testimonials, contact information, special offers, and local recommendations. Consider adding a small gift, such as a Season's Best book. Good luck!

I want to start creating "Welcome Packets" to new neighbors in the area to increase my bookings - I'm having trouble getting a full calendar. Can anyone offer suggestions of what to include, letter to attach, etc...? I was thinking of giving a Season's Best book. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Invite them to over to meet and greetI once tried that approach when I moved into a new neighborhood and got no response out of about 20 flyers. Another alternative would be to invite both old and new neighbors to your place for a meet and greet. Not only could you get a kitchen show in for yourself (or use it as a mystery host show) but the social atmosphere will spark future interest. Maybe offer a small bonus for those who book that night on dates you've pre-choosen to fill. Good luck!

Hi there! Creating welcome packets for new neighbors is a great idea to increase your bookings. Here are some suggestions for what to include:1. A personalized letter: Introduce yourself and your business, and welcome them to the neighborhood. Let them know that you are available for any questions or needs they may have.2. Information about your services: Include details about the services you offer, such as cleaning, pet sitting, or house sitting. This will give them an idea of what you can do for them.3. Testimonials or reviews: If you have any positive reviews or testimonials from previous clients, include them in the packet. This will help build trust and credibility.4. Contact information: Make sure to include your contact information, such as phone number, email, and website. This will make it easy for them to reach out to you.5. Special offers or discounts: Consider including a special offer or discount for new clients. This can entice them to try out your services.6. Local recommendations: Include a list of local businesses or services that you personally recommend. This will show that you are a part of the community and can help them get settled in.As for the Season's Best book, that's a great idea! It's a nice touch to add something small and thoughtful in the packet.I hope these suggestions help. Best of luck with your welcome packets and increasing your bookings!
