I love this musical! It has to be one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long, long time!

Nathan Lane just finished his production number with all the little old ladies dancing with their walkers. What a scream!

How 'bout you? What makes you belly laugh?

Oh yes, I do think this was a wonderful film (and the live show is even better...) But I will take the Mel Brooks/Gene Wilder version ANYDAY!

I have never seen it but I am so glad ANYTHING is new on HBO. DH and I have seen the same movies 20 billion times!

I love the scene in jail, where Bialystock does Betrayed, a review of the entire play in four minutes. What a riot!Three songs were cut from the movie, my favorite was , Where did we go right? It's referenced twice - once in the office after the show is declared a smash hit and in the song Betrayed.There are so many inside jokes in that movie that you can't detect them all. I love the eye candy in the office, like the posters of all of Bialystock's plays. The musical version of Hamlet, Funny Boy, isn't so far fetched. There was a musical verion of Hamlet about 30 years ago that was a dismal flop.

I am so mad!!!!I was going to rent that awhile back because it looked so funny, and the guy at the video store told me it was horrible!!! Plus, it's got "Crazy George" from Desperate Housewives in it, so that was going to be a bonus.

Oh, rent it rent it rent it!The guy at the video store is a freakin' idiot!When I saw this in the theatre, I left with a headache from laughing so hard and so long!BTW - do NOT turn it off during the trailer - there is an Easter egg right at the end.
