Team Recognition Ideas: Share What Works for You!

In summary, there are various creative ways to recognize team members, such as hosting team dinners, creating a "Wall of Fame," and implementing peer-to-peer recognition programs. Team recognition can also be incorporated into daily routines through methods such as compliment boxes, starting meetings with recognition, and using group chats for shoutouts. To make team recognition more meaningful, personalizing it to individual preferences, asking for input, and involving upper management are key. Low-cost options for recognition include handwritten notes, potlucks, and virtual appreciation walls. However, if team members are not responding well to recognition efforts, it may be necessary to seek feedback, ensure fairness, and communicate the importance of recognition.

Hi! My director and I are trying to make our team recognition for next year better. Can you please share what you use for recognition for your teams? TIA! :chef:

My director did play money this past year, we got some for bringing a recipe to meetings, being the top 5 in team sales, having over 1000 in sales, having 1000+ parties etc... We then twice this year had a "PC Garage Sale" in her basement with products that she had using our play money. It was a lot of fun, and we all try to get more $$$ She also gives us "picks in a basket with some supplies for different recognition as well.
