If I promote to Director and one of my team promotes to Director after me? Does my Director promote because she now as 2 Directors under her? Do I lose my recruit and she moves up under my Director?

Your Director will promote to Ad. Director if she has two first line directors under her.

If you promote to director first, nothing happens. Your consultant who is on her way to becoming director will always be yours. In terms of YOUR director promoting, only YOUR status matters to her. So if both you and your consultant promote, your director is still a director, too. She needs two of her FIRST LINE consultants to promote for her to be an Advanced Director.

But if she promotes to director before you do, doesn't she move up to the next director? Did that make sense?

Yes. That's right. If your recruit promotes to director first you have 3 months to promote and if you don't in that time she permanently moves to your director's first line as her director.
