Outside Orders Really Do Add Up!!!

I just submitted my new highest show ever! $1754.90 in guest sales ($1817.70 commissionable) - Get this: she only had 5 people show up at her party and when I left the guest sales were at $352.05. She collected 19 outside orders over $1400!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! And I just promoted to Advanced Director - CHA CHING!!!

thanks everyone! i wish i had some wisdom on how i got my host motivated, but to be honest she just followed up w/everyone. this was in a small town & they hadn't had a pc show there in a while. once the outside orders started coming in, she kept asking and got more....and more...and more!

she broke my previous show record by $600! so i bought her the fluted stone as a thank you. she said she hopes her record stands for a while, but i said - I HOPE IT DOESN'T!!!! rofl!

i told her she's so awesome at collecting orders that she should think about the biz. she just laughed, but i gave her some info. i reminded her that there is no consultant in that area as i received the first show that she booked from as a ho lead. she said she's not really interested but has a niece who might be....so we'll see!

I had the same thing happen...She had over $1400 in orders when I got to her party. 9 people showed for the party and only ONE bought anything (NEVER EVER had such a thing happen). Then with her orders after she collected, it ended at 1900+ and had only one real buying guest - the past host.

It really depends on how motivated your hosts are. I had two shows this week, one on Monday and one on Tuesday. Monday's show I walked out of there with about $200 in orders, Tuesday's show was just under $140. Both are over $400. I am waiting for payment from the one so I can close and submit, the other is still collecting a couple of orders.

Both wanted a minimum of a $400 party because they wanted two half-price items. They were aware of what they wanted to hit, and both have, now to submit them....
