Did a show for a girl a week ago Sunday, 4/2. . Now, let me preface this by telling you that this was a girl who for two months was "going to sign up this Friday". Finally got hold of her and told her we had a show scheduled for April 2, did she want to sign up and have it be her first show, or have me come and do the show and use the kit credit?. She called me 4 days before the show date, yes we are on, I have 6-7 people coming, this is what I want to have you cook, and I will do the kit credit, it will be your show.
I do the show, sure enough it's a $500+ show! i collect the orders, she is going to use the kit credit....she wants to wait to close because she has 4 more orders coming in. So I suggest that we close that show on Sunday or Monday, she sign, and the other orders can be her first show. She thinks that is a great idea.
I call her last Monday, no response. I call her Tuesday, no response. I put her friends' checks in the bank, and call her Wednesday, no response. Thursday I call her/text her AND email her and tell her we need to close the show out in the next day or two. She texts back that she is cutting hair (hairdresser who works out of her home), and she will call me at 3 on Thursday to close her show. No call. i call back, text, etc. No response.
I text her over the weekend, no response, Ok it's easter weekend, she has kids, I'm ok with that. I text her Sunday and invite her to my team meeting on Monday. No response. I call her/text her Monday morning, tell her we should close her show out. No response. I call her and email her today and tell her its been over a week, we need to close her show out...no answer.
So.....I don't want to do the typical "I will pick out $90 worth of products for you" call because I don't want to do that. I honestly could care less if she signs at this point because oh my God what a nightmare it would obviously be to work with her....but I don't want to tick her off either...BUT I WANT TO CLOSE THIS SHOW. Ican't use the "people want their stuff" line either because it was all family at the show.
So....words? I'm usually pretty diplomatic about this, but REALLY????? Return my calls and texts please....I know her cousin, she's a customer of mine, I texted her and casually asked if everything was ok with this person, and my customer said "oh no, she's fine, she's planning on closing her show and signing right away and she has $500 more in orders". REALLY? Then why wouldn't she at least text me back? this is driving me nuts.
