I just caught the tail end of a PBS show entitled The Great American Seafood Cook Off. When the scene changed to show the judges, I had one of those, "HEY! I know that guy!" moments.

Chris Kottke was one of the judges in the 2008 cook off.

Neat!!One of my clustermates has had a cooking show on public access cable for a couple of years. It's her and her sister being silly with food. They put together a proposal a few months back and shot a pilot for the local PBS station. It's in post-production now, having closed captioning added, and if the local station likes it, they get to make 5 more.
